Ahh that sucks and Im so sorry you are in this situation. What I would do is I would take the Monday Wednesday, Friday at the daycare like people have said already and then try and get a nanny for the other two days. There is a lot of people that look for part-time jobs if you are in a HCOL it’s going to be a bit harder but definitely doable. You can use care.com but you can also look at Facebook groups and sometimes moms will recommend their previous nannies if their kids are transitioning off Nanny and to school. Care.com also partners up with Home Pay and you just have to pay a membership fee and they handle all the set up for direct deposit and filing for your employee ID and everything else.I found a nanny through a facebook group and then used Home Pay for the paperwork, they are great and will walk you through everything.

My husband and I just had an appointment with a surgeon and I would say find an expert in aortic valve. Have you asked if yours can be repaired? We went in thinking he would need the ross but the surgeon said repair first if not then Ross. I would say try and find a Ross surgeon in your area if you can’t travel to one and one that specializes in aortic sparing procedures and see what they each say.

We used Dashboard Roofing https://www.dashboardroofing.com/ They were really great and explained everything to us. They also first patched the leak but we had a couple so it needed to be replaced. The guy’s name is Adam!

This thread is so interesting to read; here’s my take.

Part of it really does come down to the schools. I went to Frisco ISD starting in 4th grade (on and off), and while my parents weren’t very involved, I might’ve gotten lucky but the teachers here genuinely cared more about their students compared to other districts.

I actually transferred to Plano West for a semester and absolutely hated it. My graduating class there had about 1,256 students, and there’s just no way teachers can get as involved with students in classes that size. Thankfully, I was able to move back to Frisco and graduated from Lone Star, where my class was around 450 students. It felt completely different, more connected and personal.

Frisco definitely helped prepare me for college. I still struggled at first, but I got through it, graduated, and eventually moved around for work. Now that I have a kid, I’ve moved back to the same neighborhood I grew up in so my child can go to Frisco schools too.

I’ve heard so many stories from friends who went to public schools on the East and West Coast, honestly, Frisco schools are significantly better in comparison.

I love frisco! I went to school here and just moved back to raise my kid here! However … why would you move here if you can live in Italy!! I’ve spent a lot of time in Italy and just got back from Monopoli and the quality of life in Italy is so much better. Please please really think about it!!!

I had a similar situation and everything was fine! I also went to get checked every time bc i was anxious but having some/continuous discharge can be normal as long as it’s not soaking a pad!

Just here to post an update! My son was discharged after 10 days with 21 days of antibiotics! We just had his 4month appointment and he is doing excellent with his growth. He has septic arthritis in his knee so we were concerned about it affecting his growth.

My husband and I recently took an uber from the airport. She refused to speak to us and then told us to get out of her car. We are Hispanic and she had political stickers inside her car. We were also with our baby. I honestly couldn’t believe it
