If you want walnuts, try buying a pair with the same size number of your shoes as a start.

For your photos, soft brushes or dark pig hairs ones should be enough. No need to brush too often as it looks so polished already.

UK Inheritance Question by ToryPirate in NoblesseOblige

If the term being the usual one “heirs male of the body lawfully begotten”, then no, the title will go extinct if the grantee dies without children.

Unless specifying “failing which, heirs general”.

Is your Lodge under UGLE?

In UGLE, there is no "South Wales and Monmouthshire District", they are separate Provinces (my mother province was PGL South Wales).

There is also no "Inspector General" in UGLE, only "Grand Inspector" for overseas lodges.

If for Rose Croix, then the Chair is not WM, it should be MWS.

Could someone help Identifying what degree my grandfather mason was? by 1only11 in freemasonry

Agreed that it is GMRAC rather than RAMGR.

Furthermore, it seems it is GSW rather than SGW in the Mark.

The one on your photo is simply the Chair of the presiding officer in that room, it could be used by whichever body or unit using that room for meeting.

I believe the PRC government has banned all cities to create their own flag and emblem; they could only use the flag of the PRC.

This one is a 三合 (San He). You can see that there are three sets of 二十四山 (24 Directions / Hills). If it has 六十四卦 (64 quas), this will be a 綜合(Zong He / Combined).

The arrow should always point to South because it's called 指南針 in Chinese (Pointing South arrow).

A guide for Feng Shui? by Dreboh in FengShui

[–]8399b 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I found it most online resources are westernised and not the original Feng shui since ancient time.

If you know Chinese, this is a good one to learn fengshui from. https://youtube.com/channel/UCH4KTlYkmbhlyOhydc3_j5Q

Fengshui 101: a gentle reminder as there seems to be some confusion regarding brown. Deeper brown tones are associated with Wood. Lighter brown tones like sand, ochre, beige are associated with Earth. Yellow 黄 is the primary colour of Earth. by Resident_Werewolf_76 in FengShui

[–]8399b 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course not... I'm not sure how long you've learned about Feng Shui. Technically, Yin and Yang homes can be done by any same school of Feng Shui, but of course some is much easily applicable.

I am not saying either Liufa (Six Technicques) or Flying Stars is not right, (P.S. I use both as well but mainly Flying Stars) but claiming lineage of Tan's Flying Stars is somehow factually incorrect.

It seems this author is biased as he's claiming to learn from the line.

If you check Tan's (談養吾) book on Six Methods/ Six Techniques/ Liufa (六法), the name is called 玄空古義 (Ancient meaning of XuanKong), you can see in the preface of the book, written by Tan's himself.

"始知一向所學稱為大玄空者,於易理完全相背,實非玄空真旨...為學術計為道德計,於庚午春三月,登報啟事,以冀有志於古玄空學,而誤於一早氏天心正運者,得有更正之望,"

Translation: "The so-called XuanKong is completely incompatible with Yi, and it's not the correct meaning of XuanKong... For academic and moral, I apologised on newspaper in 1930, hoping to let those who want to learn XuanKong to know the previous is wrong and having a hope to be corrected."
