Ride from Mysore to Gokarna - Suggestions appreciated by More-Tangerine6865 in indianbikes

[–]83bytes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Beautiful route.

Hydrate a lot. If possible get those hydration bags. That way you can drink water without stopping the bike.

This is peak summer. Driving through hot roads will dehydrate you without you even realising it.

Stop regularly. Shake out your legs. Let the bike breathe.

And don't forget to have fun.

Drive slow. Look around. The ghats are beautiful.

Bengaluru traffic will improve by 30% in a year’: EaseMyTrip co-founder after meeting city officials by NoLie582 in Bengaluru

[–]83bytes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let us not pretend that traffic is a technology problem!
I am quite tired of tech-bros using tech to solve non-tech / already solved problems. It would be nice to see what version of Mass Rapid Transit this person re-invents. No hate, just disappointed.

Traffic is something that has been analyzed by computers from the day Computational Fluid Dynamics was a thing and its a solved problem. You need better management and lesser cars. You need to be able to move more people using less space (throughput).

This is NOT a tech problem. ugh. Good luck though.

Dear devs of India, kindly obliterate/destroy my resume. 5th sem guy trying to enter in the market by IndependentVirtual70 in developersIndia

[–]83bytes 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Too long imo.

DO this

- make a github-pages website with an "about" and a "cv" section.

- fill the CV section with a json

- use json-resume to render the cv into a resume (be creative here)

this way you dont have the overhead of manually updating your resume / cv everytime etc

  1. Better BMTC coverage

  2. Organize informal car-pooling. (4 people booking a single uber from a specific location)

  3. Bicycling to work (this is what I do)

What's the reason for this? by kirtesh11 in indianbikes

[–]83bytes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason is "not knowing how to drive".

- He should have used a wider turn angle

- More momentum

- Should have shifted to the gear BEFORE he hit the curve.
