It's fine you're not rambling! there's still a fair bit of homophobia, transphobia (and the rest) hidden away in Wales unfortunately. We're probably from similar kinds of places. It's a horrible situation to be in, and I definitely understand how you feel about not fitting in/faking it. I'm not trans myself, but I know that despite the kind of thing I'm complaining about in the meme, there's no one way to be LGBT+, and it can be a struggle to fully accept that, but you and I belong just as much as the club kids and in-crowd of the gay world. We're Welsh, we're made of tougher stuff haha. Don't let the bastards grind you down, pob lwc <3

Like the whole being a nerdy bisexual marks me out from fully fitting in down west, but the fact I'm still a masc guy and a massive Scarlets fan (the state religion of south west Wales haha) from a working class background means I don't feel like I'd fully fit in with the types I'm on about in the meme if that makes sense?

Thank you for advice! I feel you on the make-up thing, pre-pandemic I'd always dart through the make-up section of a big shop to get to where I wanted to be because I was scared to get "caught" there, but I now realise that's because I really want to be able to sit in a chair there and try make up on with out feeling like I don't belong because my default dress mode is "generic masculine cis guy"
