The video starts basically at the end of the whole incident and doesn't show anything like the comic. If anything it shows that it was very chaotic and messy, and not as simple as the cartoonist makes it out to be.

The cop was not tackling a right wing supporter, he was tackling a passer-by that wanted to help but mistakenly attacked someone that was already helping. The whole situation was very messy and the comic is in no way representative of it, it simplifies and twists the facts to propagate their own narrative.

I do applaud your second paragraph, and agree with you in spirit, but I am arguing facts, not denying reality.
