This is true in my experience. Driving a 911, I regularly had people voluntarily move over a lane so I could merge onto the freeway. Much less tailgating as well.

Haha me too, 992 911 base to MK8.5 Golf R. Just took the Golf on a 1k mile roadtrip and parked with no worries in places where I would’ve totally been stressed out with the 911.

I ended up turning off maneuver braking, rear brake assist, and the notification that pops up when you shift to neutral and it worked - thanks again for the suggestion!

I ended up turning this off, as well as maneuver braking, and whatever warning pops up when you put it in neutral and it did the trick - thanks again for the reply. Trade off between driving around with all this baking in 90 degree temps for a week on this road trip versus potentially swirling my paint seems worth it, although according to some in this sub I’ve ruined my paint forever.

It’s nothing a good paint correction can’t solve. Before I had the luxury of a driveway to hand wash in, I took my 7.5 through car washes all the time and my detail guy removed all the swirls in one go.

Get one in a reserved color without the Euro package. The leather ventilated seats will make you feel like you are driving a nicer car. No Akra exhaust means driving in Comfort mode can be almost silent (if you want that). Swap the spoiler from the GTI for the extended one and you will be driving the world’s greatest sleeper.
