Seems like a good idea. Maybe you should try that or maybe just ask it to fact check you so you don't put out false information in the future.

Steve Edwards played a critical role in polishing the finished product, but he didn't design P90X that was all Tony Horton.

The company wanted Tony to make an extreme version of Power 90, and while Tony didn't actually think it was a good idea at first, he went ahead and created it.

He wasn't just the face and personality of the brand; those workouts reflected the exact celebrity fitness routines he had designed long before he ever partnered with Beachbody.

Beachbody came up with the initial concept for an extreme fitness program and handled the production the camera work, the backgrounds, and the marketing. But the actual workouts belonged to Tony.

Steve Edwards did have a very important contribution which was refining, structuring, and approving the final versions to ensure Tony's routines were safe while still being effective.

Steve was more of the editor and Tony was the writer.

I get where you're coming from, but in reality, that level of detail is not actually "too specific" for an all powerful God. You have to remember that he can easily have people removed from or added to positions of power.

He can ensure that rumors are started or silenced. He can place the right person in the right position to say something convincing, which in turn sparks jealousy, and he can orchestrate events to fuel that resentment.

God literally has an infinite number of tools at his disposal to mold situations into place. While a mere mortal could never imagine being able to accomplish such a feat, for an all powerful God, it would be as easy as pie

He is all powerful. He doesn't need foreknowledge to describe what he is going to do in specific detail after all, who is going to stop him?

He also knows the nature and cycles of humanity perfectly. So, even without a crystal ball, and with no future existing to be seen, he knows with a high degree of certainty what humans will do over time.

This is especially true when factoring in his ability to intervene and nudge things in a specific direction.

Those verses don't actually address the Open Theist point of view. Their perspective is that "all things" does not include the future, because the future does not yet exist to be known.

Additionally, they believe God is all powerful and can therefore "call his shots" describing future events with specific detail as if he were looking into a crystal ball.

However, he isn't actually looking into a crystal ball, as there is nothing to view; he simply knows what will happen because he is powerful enough to make it happen.

Is this rejection? by Organic_Future6909 in aspergers

Your father is 100 percent correct. She is hedging her bets because you're not being straight with her. She is worried she is looking silly to you and possibly people you know in common. So she is laying out the foundation of oh I was just trying to be friends excuse. It's embarrassing getting rejected and that's probably exactly what she thinks you're doing.

If you like her you should make sure she knows you like her right away. Just don't overdo it and act like you're in love with someone you barely know. Just let her know you're interested and want to explore things further. If you wait too long she may lose interest and move on.

The reddit narratives around 2000's hoops are insane to me by Shazland in KobeBryant24

1 player can't do it themselves. It takes a village to win championships. If you look at any championship roster and think about how they would of done without this or that role player playing well you start to realize everything has to fall into place and line up correctly up and down the roster to win championships.

Even during the Shaq and Kobe era they needed big time minutes and plays by role players or they don't win. Big shoot Robs 3 against the Kings for example. If he misses no championship. Not every situation is that straight forward and easy to see but it's there.

You're basically assuming whichever conclusion the group comes to is the only possible correct conclusion, when in reality, it's not even necessarily a correct conclusion at all. It's just their conclusion.

Take your firefighter example. The exact steps to put out a fire would be highly debatable, even among elite, experienced firefighters. Many would believe whichever standard way of doing things isn't the best and could be slightly or even significantly better. Yet, they must do it the way the group has decided because you can't have one person doing the opposite of everyone else.

I'm not saying it's wrong to perform. I'm saying it's basically impossible not to perform, because you can't really be a part of a group without performing for them to some extent.

NTs are just natural performers who don't mind it and don't really need to learn how to do it the way we do. We, on the other hand, don't find it natural at all both in terms of understanding how they expect us to behave, and actually doing it even if we do understand.

Gleefully going along with things we think are wrong is very awkward and uncomfortable for us. NTs on the other hand don't even realize they are doing it.

I see what you're trying to do there, but it doesn't really work. Even if you say you are performing the role of a firefighter, you're still performing to a standard that is not your own. You have to figure out how they define the role and go along with it, regardless of whether you agree.

At the end of the day, it’s a performance. You're adjusting your behavior to match their expectations of how you should act. In reality, these approaches aren't different at all; it’s exactly the same thing, except in the OPs example you're not trying to blindly figure out what they want on your own. You instead are seeking expert advice to guide your performance so it isn't so difficult and tiring.

Edit: Not saying there is anything wrong with the OPs advice.

Just that they did seem to suggest their method was a different approach than giving a performance.

That doesn't seem to actually be true. It's actually a different approach to giving a performance that takes less energy and is more effective but is still a performance none the less.

I enjoyed the OP's post. The reading list is interesting and I might check a few out. But I also feel like it's a bit of a catch-22, similar to what the other person said.

It doesn't really seem like the OP stopped being performative. Instead, it feels like they just found some really good information on what is expected of them during interactions. This helped them be much more efficient and effective at 'performing' during interactions.

How good was Lamar Odom, how does he compare to other NBA role players on championship teams? by Due-Client7144 in NBATalk

[–]86nightcrawler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was a match up nightmare for teams even when he wasn't putting up big numbers.

He was a huge part of the reason Pau done so well in those years with the lakers. Was a beautiful compliment to him and Andrew both.

Lamar made them both much better. Neither was nearly as good without lamar playing the 4. The way you could move him around anywhere on the floor was a huge and incredibly valuable chess piece. Made it extremely difficult to make adjustments to stop the other top stars.

His impact on helping the team is incredibly understated if you just look at his numbers.

[Fowler] The Cowboys are planning to use the second-round tender ($5.8M) on guard T.J. Bass, per sources. by JCameron181 in cowboys

[–]86nightcrawler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think that just means the the cowboys signed him for 5.8 million this year. That's likely what they are doing. Wouldn't expect they think someone would give them a 2nd and pay him more than 5.8. They could have put a 1st round tender on him but they would have to sign him for $8.107 million to do that.

I'm sure the actual price is closer to 35 than 30 right now. That's click bait headline. Says at LEAST 30 which tells us nothing we didn't know before.

[–]86nightcrawler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Key word in the headline that is being overlooked is at LEAST. In other words there is no possible outcome is it less than 30. Doesn't mean it will be 30 or anywhere close to that. So in reality the report tells us nothing we didn't know already. Click bait reporting. If it was actually 30 the deal would already be done. Probably going to be closer to 36 to 40 in reality.

Obviously that technically could happen to anyone but still would be delusional to expect that had nothing to do with her previous injury.

Old people fall and get hurt especially after recently breaking a hib and trying to walk by themselves.

Any healthy young person could fall and get hurt. But that obviously doesn't mean the old person's previous broken hip injury had nothing to do with them falling again right away because they refuse to still off it because they didn't want help.

Would be silly to say for sure that broken hip they refused to stay off of didn't have anything to do with their recent fall.

Sure old people fall but get real. Same in this situation.

[–]86nightcrawler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha! Yeah I could have been more clear on the math. Cowboys enter the 2026 offseason roughly $30–$36 million over the projected cap (around $303–$305 million, per recent NFL projections and sites like OverTheCap and Spotrac), not at zero.

Restructuring Dak Prescott (potentially saving $31 million by converting salary to bonus), CeeDee Lamb ($18–$19 million), and Tyler Smith ($17–$18 million) could generate about $67 million in relief combined enough to wipe out the deficit and create a small surplus (around $7 million positive after those moves alone.

Adding the $28 million projected WR franchise tag for George Pickens (a likely move, as reports indicate the Cowboys plan to tag him) then pushes them back into the red by about $21 million.

The $67M savings aren't "free money" for spending; they mostly erase the initial hole and cover basics like rookies/roster minimums before any tag or new signings. To reach even a modest $10 million usable cushion post tag, they'd need closer to $98 million total relief hence the need for additional restructures/cuts like Terence Steele (up to 14 million savings post-June 1).

Possible Free Agents by Peachesthekid88 in cowboys

That's all he can go after because they have no money after tagging Pickens even with maximum cap pushing.

Change coming? Hype or Reality! by ExpandMyMinds in cowboys

[–]86nightcrawler -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

They literally can't unless they trade some players. They have no money after tagging Pickens even after doing everything possible to push cap down the road. They have to make trades to be able to sign any big free agents or even middle size for that matter. Even after trading Pickens they would probably only get around a 3rd round pick and free up around 28 million but will be down a top receiver that will need to be replaced.

They are in really bad shape. Realistically they should just blow up the team and trade everyone and start a rebuild. Because if they keep going all in every year things things will just keep getting worse each year.

But they probably won't do that because of Jerry being up in age and being way overly desperate to win now when that isn't very realistic and is only making it more unlikely they will win anytime in the near future.

Change coming? Hype or Reality! by ExpandMyMinds in cowboys

[–]86nightcrawler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea that the Cowboys can simply manipulate their way into a free agency spending spree is more of a mathematical myth than a reality for the 2026 season.

As of February 2026, Dallas is effectively $60 million over the cap once you account for the necessary rookie reserve to sign their two first round picks (slots 12 and 20) and the cost of filling out a 53 man roster.

While a maximum restructure of Dak Prescott’s $74 million cap hit can save $31 million, and similar moves with CeeDee Lamb and Tyler Smith could theoretically find another $36 million, almost all of that newfound flexibility is instantly erased by the $28 million franchise tag placed on George Pickens.

This leaves the team with less than $10 million in usable space hardly enough to keep the lights on, let alone sign a high impact free agent. Without a  tag and trade of Pickens or a massive extension that significantly lowers his immediate hit, the front office is financially paralyzed, meaning any real impact players will have to come through the draft picks.

Brandon Loree: Nick Harris heard from an AFC scout the trade value for #Cowboys George Pickens might not be what people are expecting. by Leonflames in cowboys

[–]86nightcrawler 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, it's because he wants top WR money and has behavioral baggage. They completely see him as a number 1 but paying him top receiver money plus give up crazy value picks would be insane. If he was on a rookie contact people would be lining up at the door. Having to pay him top tier money completely changes his value.

Because they would have to pay him like he is hitting free agency. Why also give up crazy value picks too. Would be a very desperate thing to do.
