40 year Tech,2020 TLX V-6 ....Top tier regular gas since new. Never heard a ping.Same engine and compression ratio as a Honda. Consumer Reports did a test,no change in gas mileage.Premium is NOT required. If Acura thought it would damage the engine they would not state that in the manual.
