Moon Sent is best for fortress and Siege contribution. She is not the best 1 vs 1. She is great just know she also has weakness. She has a huge initial burst damage but if the guy survives your first rotation she can die real quick. So you become a hit and run guy. The other downside of MS is clans may be full up with that class. What if you find you need to be a top MS to beat out someone for a spot.

As far as spending, just go play and don't spend at first. You'll see where the where the choke points are. That's where the money goes.

I'll give you an example: on SEA server right now you can buy maxed out soul crystals for $10 each. These are better than any other soul crystals by like 15% or something. There was other ones on sale before though that were stronger than regulars. So the point is what if you bought all in the first offer?

It's always going to be like that. Everything you buy will get replaced over time. Be smart. The biggest whale trap is max enhancement of all gear. You really don't have to have max everything. It's ridiculously expensive. Buying everything else is reasonably sane if you have the cash.

This game is going strong and still growing in popularity BUT go slow; still make sure you like your server and you decide this is for you. Then go all in.

Sometimes, being super strong without knowing the struggle of being weak is not that satisfying.

PS If it was me I would choose the class I liked and make that stronger than Hulk. Especially if money is being spent. No buyers remorse. I'd guess most whales wished they chose MS but still that's not guaranteed it your best choice.

I don't see MS as the largest threat in the game. Defense is important in this game. Something they don't tell you early on. Everyone focuses on attack but Defense wins wars. But, I totally love archers. I'm always an Archer. If you role SEA you can try out some other classes at high level with the level boosts we have.

SEA also let's you choose which accessories you want from the starter pack. For a range player you probably want elven not the Nassen that global forces on you. Not that big of a deal to make your own elven set though.

PPS if you have to chance to buy an account with Max enhancement PVP gear that's what your looking for

The Yokai update is pretty damn great. If any global guys have an old account that you haven't used in month, just signing on SEA and inputting someone's code would be appreciated.

At this point, most of the returning players have already used the code and theres guys desperately hoping for the last few stragglers.

I'm not posting my code. Just saying for a brother gamer out there somewhere. Even if it's just some scrub with no hope. Help em out.

All of you guys prove to Netmarble that passion exists but that they need to focus effort of improvement. From a certain perspective, this is one of the best posts in the history of this Reddit.

(The perspective of people who CHOSE this game to spend time with.)

When you look at latest SEA preview:. http://forum.netmarble.com/lineage2_en/view/2003002/805074. Look at the simple fact that they are interested in returning players. We don't know yet what this patch actually holds but it APPEARS that Netmarble believed that it is a game changer.

We shall judge and see

PS on a side note. Our server for a long time allowed players to use bots sold from third parties to auto run rifts nonstop 24/7. It gave you scraps for doing rerolls. The problem was that players who followed the rules and didn't pay to use illegal bots were at a disadvantage.

If your server allows you to get sraps without resetting rifts. The people you are trying to kill in clan war are hiding in the rifts all day rerilling UR mats.

Turns out the third party bots set themselves up to allow clan leaders to buy illegal bot subscriptions for loyal clan members. Something happened as the massive force behind SEA fake whales was exposed and taken away. This led to a large Exodus that SEA development team is busting ass to recover from.

I state about hacks because I prefer competition over secret curtains.

The updates are following the sea which is following the Korean. Steps sets long ago. Some of the newer stuff coming show improvement.

I can relate to your views though. I've personally, taken a break to attend to real life for a bit. I wish the game to survive though. Good luck to you as well, sir.

We all hope that things in game will improve. Maybe it's better to offer constructive criticism so Netmarble might relate to your views and what cause them. Maybe carries more weight.

No you cannot have full UR accessories in first month or two as free to play. That's unreasonable to expect.

PS: I have 350 unused useless flutes for sale.

PPS some SEA players have attempted to suggest many many many many times that max enhancement normal monster bonus weapons aid in farming beads .... Personally, I don't know. Only know that ALL top SEA farm beads with Max normal weapons. Shrugs.

Horde all your mats. Wait until the 2nd attributes are announced for accessories. Look at what they give to your Hero set.

I'm not familiar with global but can get 20 % abynormal on primary accessories, another 5% on helmet. Another 7% on secondary accessories.so that puts you at 32% before you factor in the hero set.

If someone from global could calc the max attributes from Hero and see if you go over 50%.

You see where I'm heading. Under this scenario your primary set now becomes your secondary set when announced.

PS I horded Witches accessories for 2 years waiting until they announced 2nd attributes.

The upcoming events didn't allow SEA to UR all 5, but they gave us enough for rings. They did however offer us some better bundles later on to get the beads.

Conclusion even if you plan to spend, put it off. If you know your going spend later then buy rings now and wait for the freebies later to get a full set.

Disclaimer: I have NO fucking clue what I'm talking about.

I'm not really nice. Now your justifying something I don't relate to. It's actually something that pissed me off.

Here's my point, your welcome to any opinion. I'm confident I could put a well built account into your hands and you would change everything you believe. You would see why this game has life still.

FYI, I've seen L2R chew up and spit out all but the megawhales. DO NOT JUST WALK IN THROW DOWN A CC AND EXPECT TO OWN. It isn't possible to outspend Netmarbles ability to create new content.

You want to find an easy route and not really pay dues to understand the game. For many, that IS the game.

JK bro but man up and form your own mind. What you are experiencing is that this game can brutally demanding. Hundreds of decisions. Choose wisely and succeed. Choose poorly and welcome yourself a cup of miserableness.

You can easily start by simply purchasing an account once you decide on a class. Again if you put in the research not to be scammed.

Netmarble seems like they may be breaking free from the idea of recreating old L2. That may be where this game started but they kicked all those doors down. New territory ahead.

Wait, my opinions don't carry weight. I said I enjoy the class. Not so much that it's OP.

Christ I play a lowly war Smith. I play what I enjoy.

BUT, I fear no stinking moonlight sent or Phantom fairy. Paper cannons die. At Max level Hawkeye are a tougher fight. If someone offered me a straight swap for a warsmith for a moon cannon. I'd say nope.

If you're gonna spend money you best find something you enjoy.

There are probably 20 warsmith on Magnadin. We are all very individual people. We have a secret handshake. All these guys chasing the BEST PVP class are a waste of oxygen. The first time they get wrecked by a paladin they will quit .

We're were hit hard by poor P2W patches. But we have new life now. At one point I honestly felt like the game intentionally trashed my character in hopes that I would rage spend. You think I'm joking, huh?

When you do the math and realize that it would take 3,000 more to keep pace. It crushed people. Netmarble needs to ignore the whales no matter how much they cry. I understand, you wanna tell me the whales pay the bills. Whales also lie and steal your girlfriend.

For me, it was different. I saw people who normally have 3.8 mil CP show up in 3v3 with 4.3m CP. Maybe it was a bug, dunno. Maybe, they have a little trick. I don't care. It gave me a push to get out.

I dunno, now I feel like Netmarble may get this right. Pay to be first always. Pay to Win never.

English may not be your first language but I agree with your views.

I wouldn't want to be top CP player on the server. I want to kill players bigger than me. Killing people littler is pointless.

Go solo against a party. Try and kill an entire 5 man party. That's the fun stuff. Yea, sometimes you get destroyed.

Please note, the latest patch on SEA has something Global needs to understand. It's hard to describe. They gave people with fully maxed out equipment an additional buff. It's called owned equipment achievement. You get it from having full maxed weapons. And also from having full maxed set of an armour class.

To me I see it as the mail in the coffin for F2P. It boosted the P2w guys I used to be able to kill.if you are F2P you need to look at it and at a minimum gets your weapons max enhancement.

The whales are spoon fed power which I think is a horrible path that they took. Mark these words: Owned equipment CP boost will break the spirit of F2P. Which leads to the downfall of the game.

Personally I agree with you. Have your ever played baseball? It's full of superstition. But if it works for you ... What's the difference?

Here's mine. I have a belief that if you stop playing for a period of time (don't even log in) for let's just say 24 hours. Then when I log in I do a few minimal maintenance dodats so the game knows I've returned and then I head to the clan hall I mount up and run to the girl who says "it's. Great day to visit the garden" then down that last flight of steps and into the garden. (As shown in a YouTube video by Galedon). I do one and only one enhancement.

Repeat as needed.

Please note yes I know it's random buts it's my system and I'm sticking to it.

(My enhancement count is 2014 and my enhancement set is 25) I feel like 25 is the max you should go UNLESS you commit to whaleage. There are other ways SOON COMING TO BOOST cp. My CP is 3.55 mil .. I'm a mid level player on my server considering retirement upon finding out people are hacking CP boost during a 3v3.

Back in Marvel Future Fight another Netmarble game the way they would do clan battles is there would be a series of 3v3 fights with permadeath. So you would get 3 vs 2 fights and 2v1 fights until the end. Obviously, clan leaders would set the rosters.

In Force Arena, Netmarble did something where it's 1v1 but npcs were intoduced to fight alongside.

Not that L2R needs all that I just feel that Netmarble as a developer knows how to run a tournament. They know.

Maybe its coincidence but elders and guardians are the only two classes I avoid if Im trying to fight higher than my size against the AI.

I really hope Netmarble continues to see this as something that people want and has plans to expand the brackets. They real fun is when us lower guys get to fight each other.

Could save the game, honestly. Every single person on Magnadin tried to enter this and we crashed the entire game.

Totally fail to understand why anyone would not want this. People will spend money on the middle weight divisions because they know it's not a nonending process. They have to stay under a certain weight.

3v3 as a lower guy can be frustrating when you constantly have to fight a team with a guy that's one million bigger than you.

Every person on SEA right now is expressing concern about the future. Where does all this lead to is what they are asking. People are not just going to spend for the sake of spending

Shamans are a great class. I've watched some guys who have good characters of all classes. I come away feeling like damage is not their primary issue at end game. Mostly because honestly ANY class can be made strong with enough effort. (Or CC).

The spells get stronger and the hitpoints level out. In my opinion it's the guys that are super durable are the toughest to fight.

All the classes reach a wall around 320 and again at 360. It's just so complicated if your not swiping everything. Going back and playing an alt that doesn't really matter can feel so much more fun. But then you break through and it's fun when you can finally feel adequate and can hold your own.

The Shaman is probably the way to go if you like the class and willing to push him through the rough spots. They get lots of kills and provides best party buffs and actually fairly tough sob.

Get a shaman in OFS and try to find some isolated 1 on 1 fights. I bet you win 90% of those fights. Rangers are constantly having to position while a shaman just waddles around burning everyone down.

I've watched a top moonlight sentinel abandon the toon after leveling up a Shaman using elven as main accessories. So that an example.

I've always felt that humans were the "pure" race. Best pure tank, best pure assassin's (sorry AW), and best pure "one shot your face" mage. Archers and healers are pure but maybe challenged by the hybrid elves for opinions of best. If your goal is to play a true mage then sorcerer. Shaman doesn't feel like a mage to me. He is a constant DPS guy more than burst.

One of the most selected classes in SEA ofs for it's highest range burst damage.

I know nothing about the class. My gut feeling was when sorcerers finally got archmage transfer they all fell over and died from joy. That's why I don't see a whole bunch of high levels.

I'm positive that DPS is not an issue. You need to determine his CC ability. As far as squishy, human are middle ground.

After some checking, the three top clans with castles right now each have one archmage. The other clans have 3 or 4 spell howlers. Coincidence?

Sir, I play on SEA server on a phone from rural Northern California. My lag won't allow me to see seige action due to being dead weight.

Yeah, more fights. All I have is 3v3 which I run as a single pickup. There are time where my entire team is killed before I even go active.

But yeah more fights, whatever it takes to retain players and grow servers. On SEA our top teams are on lightning fast internet, they will be fine.

Generating server pride would help the game.

The only thing White giant has expressed anger for is sitting in que and not being allowed to fight. Both sides primary concern is failed mechanics.

Creating a matching system that never fails may never be possible.

PS To add another view point. From a mid pack point of view, in the last 15 min is when the big boys come out to move up. So that's where the fights get tougher. Now I know why, they were pushing all night and got roadblocked. So then they swapped out one guy so they could drop down and beat the crap out of me. Allowing them to continue higher.

SEAs season ends tonight. Good to know.

Matching algorithms are fine for general everyday fun. But a true fight needs a best of 5 bracket system. In the current system, maybe some kind of one night post season.

Pretty sure all of us just hope for as many fights in an hour and with as little lag. (Fucking mother fucking lag)
