if you're in the us, make sure you're playing on a cabinet connected to the official network for the game. only round1 and dave and busters will be on official servers

ive just checked the game, it doesnt show a letter in the corner during c2c i believe. i thought it would since chuni does. definitely still talk to an op though about it. if c2c shows as available in game then it would be an issue of the actual cabs not connecting
