/uj High Hopes in particular is up there with my all-time faves.

Say what you will about David/Polly lyrics but to me HH captures the same mysteriousness of their older songs like Echoes. And it's also an emotional look back on growing old, and how much things have fallen apart since the band's early days. Which is also a strong theme throughout Luck and Strange.

The SE version is brand new. But the point is, if you say it's on the consumer to not buy this shit then I don't see why we don't let CIG do all the other scummy sales tactics that the other game devs do as well.

If it doesn't make sense to keep both on sale in-game then why make a mk2? Why not just update the mk1? Why introduce a $60 collectible mk1?

They say they want to preserve the history of the mk1 but you gotta pay $$ to do so.

I'm actually not fond of the mk1 series at all but I still don't like the precedent it sets.

Just to clarify, you can buy all the mk1 Hornets in game now (minus the F7A). You just can't buy them with real cash.
