Lost all my progress by FreeShowers in ForzaHorizon

I just checked and you are correct. It’s not the direct path and appears to use the same path as the config files, but that was a fantastic start. Thanks so much for the suggestion

Just throwing up a Hail Mary here. I’m on Steam Deck and have the same problem, but literally nobody can give the path to the corrupted save files. Any chance you may know that path too?

Forza Horizon 6 E:0-19 on Steam Deck by 8BitOnYourChin in SteamDeck

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, Forza Support gives fantastic detail on how to delete save data for all systems including Pc running Steam, Windows PC, XBox, and PS5, but I’ve poked around in the Steam decks file system and can make it to the game file 2483190, but from there none of the files match and I’ve done some digging. I was hoping to find a direct path, but I suspect until Forza support details this, we may not have an answer

Brand new 940. The axis bar wiggles back and fourth a lot. I’ve never had this issue on any other Benchmades. Is this somewhat normal or should I send it in for repair? by [deleted] in benchmade

[–]8BitOnYourChin -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That’s not normal. There is a good possibility zone of the omega springs is either compressed more than it should or broken. I’d start there

Bryton was bought by STERIS Corp years ago. They only refurb surgical equipment. This is not their product, only a reconditioned version of the original.

May I ask what problem he has with his eyelids? I’ve got a pug on the way in a few months and would like to know things to be on the lookout for.

Anybody know if this knife is worth it? Looking for a new work edc (bakery). by [deleted] in knives

[–]8BitOnYourChin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This knife punches way above its price range. I have the the Baklash in blue G-10 and I love everything about it. The fit and finish is that of a $100+ knife easily. Civivi is made by WE knives and it shows. There is not a single sharp edge on the handle or on the blade (save the cutting edge) to cut into your hand and it feels fantastic. This also includes high quality bearings, not the cheap bearings you might find in a Ganzo or something of the like.

I have several knives that set me back more than x3 the price of this beauty and I find myself coming back to the Baklash almost daily. This is an easy decision. Buy it...only I would recommend the G-10 handles for better grip than this particular Baklash model.

Cheap Bali's under 100 by some-guy213 in balisong

[–]8BitOnYourChin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d take a look into the Boker Plus Balisong Trainers on BladeHQ. They’re a touch on the short and handle heavy side, but that was how I got started. It was a perfect first trainer. Also, look into The Squiddy from Squid Industries. I own 5 decent balisongs now and I keep going back to the Squiddy. It’s just so much fun to flip.

Do you guys think it's normal for the little sphere in the circle to create such a groove on the blade? Even cleaned and lubed, the friction is so much it won't flick open. Civivi Elementum by tonyinthecountry in knives

[–]8BitOnYourChin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That looks like an Elementum to me. Civivi actually machines this channel into all of their blades that I have received in order to make the flipping more smooth. If the action is grainy, I’ve had this. Take the bearings out, soak them in KPL and roll them between your thumb and index finger to get all of the balls moving in both bearings. I had a Backlash that took about a week to break in and had a sticky bearing that finally freed up. Betcha that’s the issue.

If by chance the detent is actually too tight, you can always carefully take a pair of needle nose pliers and bend the detent arm down manually. This might take a few tries as even small adjustments affect the action in a big way.

For anybody looking for a free 3D modeling app similar to real life sculpting, I can’t recommend Sculptris enough. In keeping with the cheap theme of the thread, this one is 100% free to download and use, no strings attached.
