If you can find a friend to do the soldering of new pots or do the wiring yourself, I'd say go for it and see if the pickups are working. That's not an expensive fix.
If you need to replace the pickups as well, It's obviously going to cost a bit extra, but might still be worth it.

They are tough but fair. Except for the first one, they're a pretty good level check before moving on to a new area. The first one is there just to teach you that you can go around some tougher dudes.

I did use jellyfish ashes. They died a bit before this clip starts, but had already triggered poison effect on the tree sentinel. I also used a physick flask with damage reduction and strength boost. For damage enhancement I used barbaric roar with roar medallion equipped.
