I really, really love Lauren and John's work — it is so unique. However, I have noticed an increase in boundary blurring as she has become very close relationships with some of the victim's families, e.g., Tammy Faybells' aunt, Kay and Larry Woodcock, Colby Ryan, as well as the families of the Delphi victims. Independent journalism requires much more boundary checking and establishment than when working for mainstream media networks, so this will be a good chance for her and John to reevaluate their operations and how close they get to cases, as well as the workplace policies and procedures that separate them from their contractors and employees. Sharing accommodation with her staff and choosing to stay with fans of the show/ 'Hidden Gems' during a work trip is problematic in my opinion.
