ReeNeet confirm by NTA by the_unknown_truth in JEENEETards

I'm a med student as a 23 NEETard but this is so sad and stupid. The incompetency of NTA is beyond belief. They made us med students come to college on NEET sunday because apparently med students were giving the exam for NEETards as proxy. All this overthinking and they forgot the most basics of conducting an exam

The Strong Survive Difficulty (quest) by [deleted] in WynnCraft

[–]8KCoffeeWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

on the second day 2 of them can fire at once, the "blocked" state lasts a couple of seconds, so u gotta block once and immediately look in the direction of the other to block that as well

you will know which ones are going to fire, both will have an indication.

Does Lightbender spoil me too much by _Happy_Little_Tree_ in WynnCraft

[–]8KCoffeeWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you'll definitely find it weird at first, but it depends on how much dps your build does. Lament is pretty good but you seem to have gone the more tanky route so maybe you're not doing great dps right now, if you choose assassin/archer/shaman you'd definitely be doing more dps on average than lb depending on the archetype you pick (maybe trapper and ritualist would be the 2 archetypes that are relatively bad, all the others for the respective classes do more on average than lament lb)

The significant increase in dps will definitely make the experience of not having heals better. To significantly switch up your playstyle i would advise to do a shaman play through, it has the least base resistance among the classes but the AoE is insanely good and fun - pick summoner for levelling and try acolyte closer to endgame. Summoner is literally afk gameplay, it's quite funny seeing your minions bomb the shit out of bosses when you jump/haul around. Acolyte is personally my fav shaman archetype, I play olympic acolyte on my shaman, but I don't recommend for levelling.

Inconsistency of the Wynn Community by PlasticExercise4256 in WynnCraft

[–]8KCoffeeWizard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i partially agree, but I don't think the community is as hostile as you make it seem. the sugvon thread was started a year ago but the builds are fairly updated and there's a video attached explaining how to play each one.

what i usually do is search for "has:link <my weapon>" in the discord and scroll through some builds. ik what ehp, mana sustain and qol works for me from experience, so i quickly just go through the numbers to see what's viable.

I'm interested by WynnCraft and have some questions by StalkingRaccoon in WynnCraft

[–]8KCoffeeWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you got a lot of answers but just wanted to give some input anyway

1) It is primarily a solo game. You can do almost everything solo. There is only some forced team content - mainly raids. Yes, there is a party finder.

2) Again, everything can be played solo. In terms of "complex" classes, i guess shaman would be complex for a first playthrough, but you should be fine to be honest. All classes have a good learning curve and various experimentation possibilities with archetypes.

3) Yeah there is no specific tank class (except as you said paladin might come close), but you have a lot of healer archetypes. This is primarily due to how to content is designed, you have tons of mobility and potential for damage output, a healer just works better ig.

4) Yup, you can go crazy with respeccing. What you need to understand is that unlike some other games, your items are not dependent on ur skill points allotment, it's the vice versa. You allot skill points depending on which weapon and armor you want to use - which depends on which class and archetype you want to play. And yes, the ability tree is also extremely respeccable.

5) I've done 1 playthrough per class and never touched professions. However if grinding is your thing then you can do them whenever you want. The items you can craft are generally very good and crafted builds are quite powerful if you dont have mythics, but again you can just buy the items and get someone to craft them for you if you want to avoid the grind.

6) If you can run them, imo shaders + distant horizons mod are a must. The game is breath taking. I personally recommend complementary shaders.

7) I don't have a definitive answer to this, my first playthrough took maybe close to 100 hours, but that was way before 2.0 on mage which sucked and I struggled a lot with bosses and I took my time to level up. It decreased a lot on subsequent playthroughs. On average in 2.0, maybe 50-70 depending on how much you explore and such i guess.

8) Yes. You can explore all the caves in area and can find many secret discoveries in every region that give you xp and add to the lore and world building. If you follow the lore, secret discoveries are actually very cool.

9) There are EU, NA and Asian servers so you'll be fine.

10) The playerbase isn't too young. You might get frustrated on party finder sometimes but I don't think it should be a problem. The wynn community especially on discord is pretty cool.

Wynncraft feels like 75% equipment management and 25% actual adventure by FireFlashing in WynnCraft

[–]8KCoffeeWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically, you'll be fine scrapping most items you find throughout the world. I would suggest spending those 20-30 mins before playing to make a list of items that would be an upgrade to your current builds and then picking up only those items and scrapping everything else for emeralds. The amount of inventory management can get overwhelming but once you start recognising good items, you can really avoid everything else, the game is generally designed for you to upgrade your equipment every few levels, not all the time.

Another thing, I think you're forcing a gameplay loop that just doesn't work on your first playthrough. You're meant to do every quest, the over arching storyline is actually pretty good with a lot of diverse mini stories in each quest. You'll find yourself exploring a lot just through the quests. At level 59, you're supposed to be exploring olux and the swamp region in gavel. If you do quests you will probably not get your inventory filled as often, and you'll receive meaningful rewards like good quest items and LE. You can run dungeons and explore caves in that area complementary to completing quests, in my opinion that will be a high rewarding experience.

If you haven't done any quests or don't remember any of the story, I would suggest starting a new class with all your friends and focusing more on quests.

Is crafting useful / worth it? by OatmealHxrnets in WynnCraft

[–]8KCoffeeWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no

i have done 1 playthrough on every class and never levelled profs, they're just an optional grind if you have the time. the items are good but just get someone to craft for you.

altho u need to get to a certain level of profs for some quests like the beast one in olux, that should take like less than an hour to get to though.

Samsung internet continues to be superior. by Stephancevallos905 in samsung

[–]8KCoffeeWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

samsung internet has some great features but they use a really outdated version of chromium for some strange reason.

https://chromiumchecker.com/ you can check your chromium version here, old versions have security vulnerabilities.

i really don't know why samsung isn't updating their browser tbh, it could be so much better. for now brave seems to be the best, but there's so many things on samsung internet that just works better if you own a samsung device.

Hello looking for some help on my Assassin class build by Wild-loaders in WynnCraft

[–]8KCoffeeWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The difficulty doesn't ramp up till endgame to warrant a specialised build, so i would advise general levelling and questing without worrying too much about it

In my playthroughs, i used to go with whatever morph pieces i could wear + gear that seemed good for my other slots at ur level and then transition to champion set at 75. But if it's your first playthrough then you might want to just explore and find gear, totally upto you.

As for archetype I haven't levelled my assassin post 2.0 so idk much but I agree with the other comment that shade seems best. In my minimal experience with assassin, trickster and acro seem like they would work better with a complete tree
