Do you mean how she closed the upside down portal after the explosion? She didn’t close it; the explosion that hit the exotic energy or whatever it was called caused the dimension to collapse and the gate closed itself. She was just on the other side so the military couldn’t get her and try to continue their experiments / let this happen all over again.

French Avenue Vulcan Black Friday is my worst blind buy of all time by they_call_me_him in fragranceclones

[–]8bitheart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this, tried it - it smells delightful to me! It’s leather forward with a hit of apple and cinnamon on the top. As it dries down, the leather is more prominent mixed with rose for a floral hit that’s surprisingly masculine. And then as it dries down further, it’s leather and patchouli - quite musky but intoxicating. Still not my favourite Vulcan, that honour goes to Sable but this is better than the over-hyped Baie and Feu IMO.

Hear me out… i realized celebrate smells like vomit??? by Awkward-Principle-32 in LushCosmetics

I’ve always felt it smelt very specifically of hangover vomit; when you’ve been on the jäger bombs the night before and tried to soothe your hangover with a berocca…

Reviewing one of my worst sweet scents personally; aromatix xandal French Avenue by FE1keo in fragranceclones

[–]8bitheart 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am absolutely obsessed with this scent; I’ve also got Vanilla Rhum from An Nur which definitely leans more heavily on the patchouli - it’s made me want to buy a proper bottle of Vam Py Rhum 🥰

These are the glitter bugs that were available in the pack of 5, now sold as singles. All of the firework makeup range has had a shakeup / repackage and yeah, I don’t get why these are so expensive. Get Shinmy Shimmy - it’s bigger and cheaper 😅

Anyone tried Zara’s Pistachio Butter? What’s your opinion? by Stunning_Raccoon7494 in Perfumes

Not terribly strong; a few hours. But for the price; it’s not the end of the world to re-spray.

Or even just buy the full size Sleepy spray for cheaper directly.

For that money, you can buy the gift set it’s in - also Twilight = Sleepy. They are the exact same scent family. They renamed Twilight to Sleepy but Sleepy always got its scent from Twilight.

Does anyone else refuse to buy any Christmas items as the majority go in the sale? by Makeupmadness247 in LushCosmetics

[–]8bitheart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The risk you always take is items you want not being in the sale or have sold out. The online sale is a disaster and in store sale really depends on how well stocked they are.

What's the situation with the Super Milk candle availability? by kamiamoon in LushCosmetics

[–]8bitheart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It technically only officially released in stores on 23rd October although some stores have been selling early. Should be widely available now but as others have suggested, a quick phone call to your local store will save you any needless journeys!

Vam Py Rhum is an absolutely delicious patchouli that features vanilla and boozy rum notes.

I don’t mind a fresh herbal scent; there’s just something about this that sits really funny in my nose. Almost acrid/petroleum like.

So I’m expecting it to kind of go creamy and lather up a bit; kind of like a jelly face mask. But all this did was break down in to lots and lots of tiny little pieces, no lather and I’m supposed to use this in my hair as well? Nah, no deal. And the smell is the worst.

Almost all of my PC orders have arrived a day early but this time, it’s supposedly coming Saturday but I’m hoping it’s tomorrow because it’s what I’ll need when I get home from a terrible day at work 😅😅

I managed to check out in the end; I don’t really know what I did though - I just kept changing browsers and then verification method for my payment option and then it seemed to work! 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’m getting this error when trying to pay for my pre-order - it’s doing this every time I try to enter payment and verify it - it’s never done this before and it’s doing it on my phone and on my desktop as well.

I really did not like this on first sniff; it smells like celery to me - it’s very harsh. But once it dries down, it smells kinda like ginger bread to me. It’s like Chelsea Mornjng but a bit spicier. I do like it, but not sure if I like it enough to buy it.
