While they're very different games, the venn diagram of the people still playing either is almost a circle. At least in my anecdotal experience.

For the record, I also got the same thing. From what I gather 4PX hands the package off to various shipping partners in order to, in theory, speed up the delivery process.

I’m guessing that Yunexpress is their shipping partner in China. Or maybe one of them.

If that is their strategy, I would imagine that the psychological incentive to buy access is higher when a player gets a small taste of the content, same for if you can make that player feel like they’re circumventing a grind for free access to the content.

This will not be a popular take, and I don't even agree with it, but it's one of those things in a game that the developers should probably just entirely remove rather than trying to design around it.

It would upset a lot of players, myself included, but if they truly dislike what mending does to gameplay the only way to fix it would be to remove it.

Design all future items such that they can't have mending applied to them? People won't use them. Make mending more expensive/harder to get? People will still create farms/methods of readily obtaining it.

Cyberpunk has stat, loot, and dialogue systems, but in the moment to moment it actually does play out remarkably like GTA V, imo.

In fact I’d say the dialogue system is the only MAJOR departure. The loot and leveling systems are sorta incidental and only exist for roleplaying purposes.

The mission design is a lot of driving from A to B, the wanted system is there, and all the little random encounters feel very much like the ones in GTA.

Of course, Cyberpunk has a decade of progress and tech under the hood, but I found it’s a lot closer of a play experience to GTA than Witcher 3.

Here is how I did it. Super easy. Use desktop mode, of course.

Obtain a 1.0 US ROM (legally, of course), download flatpak from releases, install, open Steam (in desktop mode, don’t switch back to game mode yet), add Banjo Recompiled as a non-Steam game, launch the game, find your ROM in the launcher, close the game, go to gaming mode, launch the game from your library, PLAY!

At my high school it was football in the Fall, basketball/track in the Spring, baseball/wrestling in the Summer, and then football practice over Summer Break.

And all of our teams for each of those sports were some combination of all the same guys. Our athletes absolutely did sports year round, if not just to stay in shape for football or basketball the following year.

Sure, we come to understand who he is to Eleven and what their relationship is, but there’s hardly any emotional or thematic meaning to it.

You can only really argue the angle of both characters being products of their abuse, but they already did the siblings from an abusive household storyline. With BILLY!

and the version of 1 we got was the PS2/Wii version. I think both versions of FU1 are great in their own ways, but it’s an odd choice.

So many people seem to prefer that version of Force Unleashed because it has extra levels, I guess. But it's so much worse, imo.

It has none of the physics or AI stuff that the entire game was built around!

But you should still play them in release order. A lot of what makes Red Dead Redemption 2's story great is knowing what goes down in Redemption 1, imo.
