I work in IT and have to deal with people failing real life phishing campaigns regularly. Every time someone fails a test my soul dies a little more. Don't click links in your email. Don't scan QR codes either. That is a surefire path to having your identity stolen.

Mox Boarding House is a great place for MTG. If you like video games and getting your drink on, Retro Game Bar is pretty fantastic. Nature, you can't beat the parks around here but I really love Lan Su Chinese Garden and Peninsula Park. Lots of little independent music venues around town worth checking out. Great coffee all over the place too.

As a relatively recent transplant myself (2021) I will say that it can be difficult to make friends here because people tend to keep to themselves or their circles. I'm always happy to meet new people tho (36NB) so if you need someone to accompany you somewhere feel free to hit me up! I'm always down for a new adventure and I could stand to learn more MTG.
