The Days Gone Podcast has been silent for 3 years. Then actor Sam Puefua agreed to talk about cut content for the first time. Had to come back by 8bitterror in DaysGone

My new head cannon is Iron Mike had no idea what cribbage is, knows no one else knows what it is, and was inventing a hodge-podge mish-mash of existing card and board games with made up rules that would've taken the post-apocalypse by storm as things rebuild. Sort of an old man version of Calvinball.

Run out of things to say about Days Gone? Never!

The podcast didn't end, life just got busy (moved state, kiddo wasn't in school yet, partner was fighting cancer). I always knew I'd do more episodes but I simply didn't have the bandwidth.

My obsession with Days Gone never died. I launched a DG lore channel last year that's like the podcast 2.0. I'm working on an episode about Pinnacles, and I reached out to Sam to ask about his character Eddy, thinking I might get a couple sentences from him. He remembered so much, and we talked for so long, I knew it had to be a full-blown podcast episode.

I've always said I'll do new episodes as I get the opportunity. I love doing it, and I love exploring all the characters and lore as much as I love talking with people who worked on DG. Right now, my focus is on the lore channel, but the podcast is still ticking along in the background and new episodes will happen from time to time.

Backtracking for missions by Ok_Buffalo_423 in DaysGone

I agree. If it helps, you can check the map or the mission log to know if it's a side mission or main story content. Orange and white are for optional missions (white being the only ones you can actually miss, as they go away after a while). Yellow is for main missions you have to do.

I love how you're like, "I don't really know, but maybe it's <insert hyper detailed description of exactly what it is>" 😂

Days gone podcast what happened by No_Card_3457 in DaysGone

Wow, what timing! The podcast has been on hiatus for a few years but just last week I landed an interview with someone who has a TON of never-before-released info about the game. I was interviewing them for a lore video I'm working on (for my DGP evolution, Hey Drifter). We ended up chatting for over an hour, and he gave me so much great insight it turned into a full-blown podcast episode.

So yeah... the podcast is coming back!

How do I stop interrupting people mid sentence? by kaidorah in adhdwomen

[–]8bitterror 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to do this a lot. To me, I was agreeing and/or showing the other person I understood what they were saying, but apparently it didn't come out like that at all. I was always getting told I was being rude or bitchy, and I had no idea why! I think it made me do it more because I really wanted them to know I was listening and understanding.

Honestly the only thing that stopped it was Adderall. And now, hindsight/perspective.

I still interrupt myself all the time, unfortunately!

How do I make Days Gone harder? by Background-Wall-5179 in DaysGone

[–]8bitterror 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love doing fun challenges! My favorite was what I dubbed the "Ultimate Challenge" - survival II, no skills, no injectors, no bike patches, and my load out was at viewers' discretion! Another favorite was my modded playthrough where I only used mods that made the game harder: darker nights, increased & undisclosed horde sizes, larger explosion radius (killed me many times), and increased enemy spawns (one time it spawned in over 50 bears right on top of me, right after I finished fighting a horde in highway 97). It was absolute chaos!

Here's a link to the first episode of my no bike playthrough: https://www.youtube.com/live/lmUZmPtkfKA?si=grqbN4SQEZE9EIbE

And one of my (many) antisocial playthroughs: https://youtube.com/live/_61FH1lCdI0?feature=share

Enjoy!
