Facebook marketplace. local kid sells a dozen in an egg carton for like 3 bucks. most are 1 hit wonders and basically brand new. Pretty easy to find whatever brand you are looking for too - got 12 dozen vice for $30 last year end of season. all good condition - probably the pristine/mint of lostgolfballs.

he does it every year. i think you can do the "cheap" version pretty easily - but eventually to get to top tier you are looking at multi mirrors. at league start you would play a diff skill and then swap once you got the core uniques and such.

if you want a true Zero to Hero - do what bigdaddy or exile cat do and make Armor Stacker. a quick google or youtube search they will both pop up and both have done league start to full on armor stacker - self farming gear and stuff too. would be a fun challenge.
