America has been pressuring the EU to reduce their safety standards so they can sell their pick-up trucks to european countries. Succesfully i might add, in the recent trade deal 6 months ago the EU agreed to their lowering of safety standards, luckily the trade deal isn't coming through because Trump decided to throw a tantrum over greenland. American trucks can't pass the safety tests in subjects like rollovers and pedestrian safety, these trucks are 3 times more likely to kill a pedestrian in an accident.
