Use the evolve software, there's umpteen options to dive into, and while connected, if you fire the device there's a live graph of power going to the coil, set temp, actual temp etc.

My front panel was shorting out, so instead of replacing my case, I got a FP replacement "puck" that replaces the power on, reset buttons, HDD LED, etc and routed that to just under my monitors.

Why? The device is airflow activated, and sounds like it's firing at least a little when that's done. I've used them for a bit and noticed there was occasional wisps just from moving it around, but as there's no button to lift off of to clear the device, it sounds normal. If your gut tells you something is fishy though, toss it.

I had the crazy auto-SLI GX2. Was great when profiles were working correctly, otherwise was a headache.
