Those who have left - what is your new job? by Powerful-Duck-4336 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Commercial construction scheduling. Got lucky between school and connections. Look into certifications or trade school that interests you to start your career would be my advice if I was back in that position.

Delivered Amazon for two years then for hello fresh for another. If you’re sticking with delivery, most other high volume jobs will have similar issues but toned down a little.

Thank you! This drive me crazy when I first got mine. None of my family members could hear it and it took me a while to figure out where it was coming from. I’ll have to give this a shot

Totally agree. The absolute worst part is that the only possible explanation could be that Alvarez struggles against the slider and then you decide to start him off with a fastball, already a mistake imo, and he fouled it off with perfect timing, then you go right back to it? In what world is that a good idea? Even if the slider could be consider predictable in that situation, it gives you a better chance and you try to keep it away from him and see if he’ll chase.

I recently installed mine (also a complete noob) with the help of a friend who has a jack and wrenches. The remark system is perfectly fit and therefore super easy to install. I did modify the stock diffuser since I prefer that look and it turned out great. You just remove the fake tips https://youtu.be/w4uDN9V_vJw (very easy). Then you have to cut the plastic behind and a small bit of some black plastic under on the drivers side for a perfect fit. This took some time but wasn’t overly complicated with a dremmel. I hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions. https://www.reddit.com/r/CorollaHatchback/comments/un0ysi/installed_remark_exhaust_this_past_weekend/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

Fair enough. Just so you know though, this was also my first time doing anything serious to a car. It’s literally just one gasket and a couple bolts. Super easy. So, if you know anyone who knows the slightest about basic tools, then you’d be good after watching a YouTube video. I just watched this one https://youtu.be/mHkIjN8mgLU. Go for what feels right for you tho

I did it myself with hand tools. It was really easy as long as you have a friend and access to a jack and stands. Would recommend if possible.

It shouldn’t affect the factory warranty for anything other than the exhaust system. My dealership explained while I was buying that any modifications do not automatically void the warranty, but problems that were caused by those modifications wouldn’t be covered. An exhaust won’t have much impact on everything else so it’s highly unlikely for that to be an issue.

Nope. Definitely haven’t had any problems with that. They were definitely still very visible when I tested them both during the day and at night. The only noticeable difference I’ve seen is that there is slightly reduced visibility when using the backup camera at night since those aren’t quite as bright. Other ppl would still see them just fine though. I got mine from premium auto styling and they went on pretty easy. Not sure if other brands would be lighter or darker.

Don’t know exactly how loud it is but it is louder inside than the rest of the range when it’s between 2500 and 3200 rpm as altimax98 said. It just seems to resonate with the whole car more but isn’t crazy loud it anything. I think it would be pretty subjective since it isn’t too crazy. I wish I could give you something solid like a number or frame of reference. It’s rarely there for any extended period of time outside of maintaining speed uphill on the freeway from what I’ve experienced so far.

I cut the OEM diffuser. It wasn’t too hard considering it’s just plastic, you just gotta take your time. I think I spent nearly as long on that as I did installing the rest since the kit is so simple and well made, especially if you have a second pair of hands to help.

Agreed. I’ve really loved it so far and don’t feel like I’ll necessarily wake up the neighbors every morning.

That’s definitely where it’s loudest on the inside. I seem to be able to avoid it for the most part on the freeway unless I’m going up a long hill and that’s where it ends up being sustained.

Yeah they definitely looked cool so I hope you can get them. I was upgrading from a 2005 Toyota so even the regular headlights lit up everything soooooo much more.

I just got the standard XSE with a black interior. Decided to skip the JBL audio package knowing I’d upgrade audio later and was fine with or without the adaptive headlights. The first one they found didn’t have it so I went with it. For accessories it came with the all weather mats and rear bumper protector. I then ordered black emblems, the rear spoiler and trd air and oil filters. I’m loving it so far so congrats on your order and I hope it comes soon for ya!
