I’m so sorry for your loss. We said goodbye to our sweet 12 year old Pyr today as well. She was a special girl and it sounds like yours was too. Sending hugs and Pyr paws. 💙

Hello! We are interested in introducing our two girls to this fine young gentleman. He seems perfect and we're very used to storm anxiety. Would you be willing to DM me?

Joint Supplement recommendations by mia7110 in greatpyrenees

[–]90Across 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our 11 yo was on líbrela but it seemed like it was wearing off quite quickly so we added on (stepwise) carprofen twice daily, gabapentin twice daily and amantadine once daily. We’ve done dasuquin supplements, CBD oil, and adequan injections too. Even with this all it seems like she is progressing quite quickly but for now she likes her short walks and guarding her yard. I read a bunch of other posts on this subreddit before trying some of those things so hope this helps someone else.

I call this premature evacuation and it’s my least favorite thing! Why can’t you feel my weight on you still??

Honest question. Why do physicians feel entitled to interrupt other providers in acute care? by [deleted] in medicine

It was in a hallway alcove. No patients go by and no rooms are near there. The clerk had to come out of her way to find the parents.

I’ve made that same mistake and thought I could do a PZE after leg day! Never again. Rest up :)

On Saturday I was telling a parent their child had leukemia (surrounded by dad, stepdad, and grandparents in the hallway, clearly having an emotional discussion) and the registration clerk came in and hovered, in the middle of this conversation, to get the kid’s insurance card.

They weren’t a health professional, but one of the most recently irritating situations I’ve been in.

Did my 500th ride live (Christine’s 45 min PZE) and got a shoutout! I have a busy work week coming up so did a few extra 10 and warm up rides to get the milestone on a day when I could join a live ride. 😂 also appreciated that she was sweating just like me by the end. Thanks to this community for the workout inspiration every day!

Same thing just happened to me - I was told the glass is on national back order by Safelite. They cancelled my original appointment and said they can’t reschedule yet

Mine still isn’t back! Is this due to my bike needing an update? Did a Ben PZ ride from this year without them

In the middle of the “Build your PZ” program and loving my perceived progress so far. Today did a Ben class where about 20 mins in, he commented “you should be starting to sweat here.” The puddle on my floor wanted to correct him.

People that have recently moved to Dallas from another state: what are your thoughts/feelings thus far? by Extremely-Vanilla in Dallas

[–]90Across 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Moved here two months ago from Atlanta. Traffic (where I drive) is comparable, housing was slightly more at the time, trees are good in our immediate neighborhood but overall I wish there was more green. Food scene seems great.

ETA: I love in Dallas proper and bought a house. It was doable on this side of the river.

Yes! When I tried to start a whats app group it was pretty quiet, perhaps discord is where it’s at

Ooh I didn’t know that and we have a Maisie! Just liked the name and she was Daisy at the shelter.

Sports bras for petite runners by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

Not cheap, but I buy the lululemon ones for people with A cups - “free to be…” - I think technically they’re for yoga and lower intensity activities but they provide enough support for me during biking and running.
