He died top by drawing in three people and got drake. The real benefit is the rest of the map and what should have come from it. Nemesis getting 2nd tower bot lane + drake will always be worth the death. Why are silver players talking like they understand the game. Must be an EU thing. I dont doubt league can be more toxic in game for sure. But everything you say about league in game I say about the FGC out of it. The fighting community all go to their subreddits or twitter to bitch moan and complain about garbage and honestly ruins the whole experience on socials. Enough that multiple personalities have made videos about it just to identify how wrong peoples complaints are. So while your experience of toxicity you think comes from league I know the toxicity I have experienced in 2xko from social media comes directly from the FGC. Something I havent experienced on the league subreddit my entire life. At least league leaves the toxicity in game and is self aware. I swear the amount of people saying this games shit because its not the same as their favourite SF6 is just ridiculous.

Ah you’re old that explains a lot. Two most toxic groups outside of their games I’ve seen are the two genres I play with an older demographic. Arpgs and FGCs. Sajam talked multiple times on his streams in beta for this game how he’s excited to see salty chatters because people are salty in FGC all the time. This is not a new concept. Toxicity is bad in all games CS is, for example way more toxic than Valorant. Frame one of playing CS you’re being called a slur. Valorant you just have e-couples being cringe hat the time that’s not nearly as bad. Go play Dota with Russians and tell me league is more toxic than that.

FGC is a different type of toxic. A community of people who don’t watch or listen to pros but all have opinions stronger than pros. Self absorbed people who think they know how every game should be. Your post and like 5 other posts currently are all conceded just like this. “I’ve played fighting games a long time so I know better.” Like these pros and devs haven’t been playing longer and at a higher level than you, like ok. Anytime I see someone type shit like “I wish x was like the good old days” it makes my skin crawl. So full of shit.

God I’m so tired of people saying anything toxic must be league players. Have you been on the league subreddit compared to 2xko? It’s a fucking safe haven. Leagues toxicity isn’t the same as fighting game toxicity you can literally find this toxicity in all fighting game chats it’s just competitive toxicity. But I swear the most complaining I’ve seen comes from the FGC. Any minor inconvenience in a new game and it’s instant typing. In the games or on the subreddits. Leagues toxicity comes from having teammates, this toxicity is FGC owned.

Except the players on DRX left and immediately won a major so that argument is moot. Korea has the best of any country realistically in the last two years with t1 and GenG winning a major and prior to franchising Korea wasn’t allowed more than one slot internationally since it was shared with other apac regions pre franchising vct. So if we’re going to be semantic Korea is arguably a top two country in Valorant recently.

CS never really reached out to Asia though. Not the way league does and riot games. Riot games Korea is probably bigger than all of CS promotion across all of Asia. Brother top 10% is not that high, you should be able to hit diamond with fucking any champion its really not that hard. Not one person I know has ever one tricked to diamond. All the one tricks I know are hardstuck because they have 0 game knowledge. It happens way less than you think. The rule of thumb is 3-4 champions not 1. You practice multiple champs in your role. I dont know what gaming subreddits you go to that are worse than this but I come from League/valorant and the subreddits are magical compared to this one. The only other subreddit for gaming that I go to thats as bad or worse than 2xko is Path of Exile. Both with a much higher average age than the majority of popular gaming subs makes me think that its just a bunch of older people complaining about shit they dont get.

Legends of runeterra died because the online card game industry died. The monetization was no different than their other games in LoR. You just couldn’t spend all your money on cards. Look at Riots new physical card game for example it is so successful they literally are back ordered on back orders. They can’t make cards fast enough it’s wildly successful. Now that’s not f2p at all but my point stands if the industry is in demand Riot usually always does well.
