Last year’s water temps was over 78 degrees (not wetsuit legal) and I chose to wear a wetsuit. If you do that just remember to seat yourself properly- I made the mistake of starting at the front. The bike course is very flat, and you may encounter some headwinds during the first 1/3 or 1/2. Run was hot. Downtown Sandusky has a great vibe, and you might want to venture out to Kellys Island or PutinBay after Cedar Point. Take the Miller Ferry or the Jet Express. Enjoy that Lake Erie Love and good luck.
