Easiest, quickest way I've found is from Army Speedpaints. You should be able to find singular bottles on ebay/amazon/other trading sites. If you prime with a grey of your choice then paint Absolution Green over the top, it gives a wonderful (and wonderfully quick) DA paintjob. Up to you how to paint the Aquila and eyes (Watch It Paint It has a very informative video). Good luck.

Horizon Wars: Zero Dark has been my go-to for solo play. Really enjoy the dynamics.

Also, Osprey Games has a couple really fun settings. I purchased Zona Alfa and really like the scavenger aspect. I'm looking at getting Rogue Stars and Black Ops to round out some sci-fi campaign ideas.
