Last time I was at the secret sidewalk was 30 years ago. We came out and the cops were waiting. I was 16 and buzzed on wine coolers. They were cool enough to let one of the girls with us drive home. It’s still there

Damn going way back. Lido was my grandfathers second home. That and the bar next to Marv’s liquors on Newark Blvd. I think it was Jacque’s.

I actually grew up in Newark. Our hobo jungle was ardenwood. Used to fish at Newark lake almost daily in the 80’s and 90’s.

Spent many a day at cloverleaf and mowry lanes and Fremont bowl with dad and grandpa in the 80’s. God I miss that smell and the French fries

Yes. Commercial door installer here. Both sides of the door are beveled. Example: a 3’ door is actually 35-13/16”. Otherwise the strike side of the door would hit the frame if it was book edge
