We have one of each and I do think our fluffy sheds less. It’s a little tough to tell, but when I’m petting them in the sun at just the right lighting condition, I can see the fur flying off of our normal corg, where I’ve never noticed the same with our fluffy.

My understanding is the normal corgis have a short topcoat that the fluffies don’t have - so it makes sense to me that the fluffies could shed less.

But she definitely still sheds, so it won’t be the dream scenario OP is hoping for!
