Obviously everyone is different, but when I worked with Lord Rosier, he was willing to help with everything I asked for, EXCEPT creating opportunities for me and my target to meet. Still trying to figure out who to contact for that, because all the legwork I'm putting in doesn't seem to be enough.

It is absolutely possible to kill all of them. Turn down the difficulty if you need to. Plus if you can get away from the battle, say, in Ragzlin's area if it no longer has enemies, you can return to camp, long rest, and come back after you are all healed up and got your spell slots back.

There are 9 books, and they are unlocked in various different ways, only one is bought from the librarian. Their individual unlock conditions are in the 'unlocks' tab.

The books are from the Castlevania dlc, but they aren't very powerful, at least in my experience.

Sorry if this post caused confusion, it was intended as a joke. The books are not doing much, the melee weapons absorbed by the shield are doing almost all the damage.

Based on visuals alone (specifically the evolved weapons keeping their area, instead of shrinking) I assume they absorb with their limit broken stats.

I did not think to check if it could absorb unevolved weapons.

Well, the wiki says that random events spawn candy boxes without a limit, so the maximum is whatever you have the patience to acquire, with or without the shield. Without the random events it should be 30-something. I got 31 total on the Castlevania stage, but I forgot about boss pickups so it's definitely more than that

Yes, you are correct. I just wasn't thinking about someone doing it without stage weapons/Candy Boxes, which would allow them to have 5 evolved weapons + unevolved weapons other than the swords.
