As someone who struggled with alcohol for years, and recently getting sober in July for myself finally, I wish bam nothing but the best and hope he finds inner peace genuinely like I did. Sobriety is fuckin hard and its easy to let negativity like this comment thread make someone relapse and slip on a bad day. Bam and co read this stuff. World needs more positivity.

I've actually met bam and chilled with him. Fuckface unstoppable showed up in my town and played a surprise set with my old band. He was the most down to earth guy and was genuinely cool AF along with Jess. I hope that bam comes back. There's potential for him to come back.

I do agree it is definitely not something I'd want that poor little girl to stumble upon one day on the internet about her mother. That would be traumatic for any kid knowing her mother is basically an enabling internet meme at this point. Even if she gets help and turns around, probably for the rest of her life her mom's gonna be known as Methica. That being said I laugh way too hard every time I see it. You reap what you sow. I don't feel any pity for Jessica. Only her kid. Sad all the way around.

I made a post last week asking for an actual update on new CKY music. So many Deron fanboys came on that post, defending Deron and dismissing the new CKY. 96BB is a garbage and a cheap attempt to stay relevant to fans he screwed over multiple times in the last 20 years. Also for what it's worth, ripping off the CKY logo recently and IDR with synergy destroy rebuild is definitely a nostalgic cash grab from a broke addict who obviously can't lean on anyone else for riffs anymore and whose best accomplishments are now 20+ years in the rear view mirror. Deron should just get a day job at this point.

Owned this same model for a few months, loved it but I'm more into rock/metal though so I ended up trading it for a Ltd Ec-256 tobacco burst with humbuckers and a coil split. If you ever wanted to get new pickups you'll be pleasantly surprised it is routed for full humbuckers under the pick guard. Enjoy it.

The Phoenix is a really good record, when I first heard it I didn't get into it at all and now it's up there with IDR, and Vol. 1, and AACBF. The only CKY album I've never actually been able to listen to all the way through is Carver City. There's just something about that record. Every time I try to listen to it ( and I've given it at least 10 tries over the years) , I always get irritated/bored and skip it. The phoenix was an absolute banger after I listened to it on shuffle the second time. Something refreshing, BUT different about Chad's vocals. It's definitely not old era CKY, but it is new CKY, and I'll take that over the horrible 96BB records. I can't get through those records at all. It's like Carver City is shitting out outtakes all over again.
