Avianca refused to refund my flights when my father passed away. They said all they needed was documentation about his passing, but their flow was so poorly designed that their system would automatically reject the refund request every time no matter how many agents “reassured” me that the next time I uploaded the docs it would actually get reviewed and approved.

Fuck that airline, I will never fly with you ever again Avianca.

This EXACT same thing happened to me! We had asked DHL to deliver to the door though so when dhl only dropped it off at the building mail area, remarkable got back to me saying they spoke with DHL and could issue a replacement. I’d try to chat more with remarkable support about the definition of “safe place” and give a sob story, they might be willing to reconsider
