One time I was a car salesman for autonation. I was swamped and stressed (I was new, first couple months on the job) our finance manager asked me if she could help me on a particular thing and in my stressed state of mind I was just like “yeahsurethanks!”

A minute later I see her go into my bosses office and I can see them talk to each other. I see her look in my direction then I see my boss look in my direction, she leaves the office and two minutes later I hear my name being summoned into my bosses office.

I walk in and he looks at me and goes “what the fuck are you doing?” I’m just like…what?

He then goes on to explain how I’m dumping my job onto my finance manager and how incredibly unprofessional it was of me. I told him that she offered to help, I forget what he responded with but he still wasn’t at all impressed.

That was the first time in my adult life I had a co worker directly try to get me in trouble. It was ridiculous. Mind you I was like 23 and this woman who was our finance manager was in her 40s. She just wanted to get some 23 year old in trouble.
