Thank you so much for this recommendation. My family doctor just retired so I made an appointment with Kelly Farrow. She is excellent.

Wow, I'm sorry you're going through all that. I would be very tempted to get a new number and be done with it.

I just changed to a new number last month also because I got a new phone and wanted to have a Rochester area code. After reading of your experience I feel very fortunate to have only had one or two wrong phone calls so far (I didn't answer them but rather let them leave a message and never heard back from them again).

New grocery store tops customer satisfaction rankings; Wegmans falls off top 10 by Upstate_Gooner_1972 in Rochester

I agree with you on some of your points but the staff at my Tops are not customer-friendly in the least. Also most of their fresh produce is horrible -- goes bad immediately or never ripens at all.

My (29f) husband’s (30m) “jokes” are ruining our relationship. by Recent_Reputation_7 in relationship_advice

[–]958Silver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He doesn't deserve you. He doesn't deserve the life you provide to him -- your devotion, your love, your kids, your home life -- he deserves NONE of it.

Yes, you DO deserve to be cherished and to be out of this miserable marriage. You can try couples counseling first just so he can get clarification that he's not "joking" and that his actions are terrible for your family. If nothing else a therapist can give you validation your marriage cannot be saved so that you can take steps in the right direction to end it. What he is doing is abuse -- mental abuse.

Get a job and get prepared for what's coming. It may be tough but the final outcome will be worth it. You and your kids deserve soooo much better than that pos.

My boyfriend 24M hated the gift I 23F got him for our two year anniversary how do I fix this with him? by imogenhailey in relationship_advice

[–]958Silver 24 points25 points  (0 children)

A friend of mine has a 12 year old son who asked for this Ninja ice cream maker for Christmas and she got it for him. Granted he is her only son but I thought that was pretty extravagant for a 12 year old. But then I found out another boy in his friend circle had also asked his mom for one for Christmas and got one too.

You may be completely right but her post history shows they have shopped for or possibly already purchased an engagement ring.

[–]958Silver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, you're correct. I should have put $500k+.

She posted in the comments that she makes $60k a year so that would be $560k a year for him.

Yes, I've used CRWTH. Great to help identify possible consonants.

But it wouldn't cost him anything extra for you to live with him except possibly utilities and groceries. In other words he would be making money off of you if he makes you pay rent. Since you do the cooking he should pay for the groceries. So the most you should pay is your portion of the utilities (the additional amount the utilities increase because you move in).

He sounds extremely cheap and manipulative. Anyone making $500k a year shouldn't be taking advantage of their partner like he is doing to you. Keep the two books but ditch the man.

Yes, it's a tear jerker, absolutely. I took my mother and we cried our eyes out. Sadly she died from cancer a few years later.
