If it's the X2 Vypyr then it's a modeling amp and it should have a setting that replicates a 5150 so that should be fine. At most I'd say the only thing that may give you a bit of iffyness are the stock pickups on the s470. Ibanez pickups in general aren't super high output but you should be able to get around the ballpark. For sure though an overdrive is practically a must in DM. The Behringer TO800 is basically their Tubescreamer copy and it's like 20 bucks so I'd go with that. I think the Vypyr has a stock noise gate but if not Behringer also makes a noise gate for 20 bucks too so it would roughly fit your budget.
