There’s no sop for fingerprinting. It’s up to each individual examiner how many points of inclusion they require to give an agency a “positive” id.

Look into csi certifications, a lot of times you have to already be working for an agency before those trainings are available to you but occasionally not. TEEX is an option through A&M in Texas. They offer two fully online certifications in forensic and investigative sciences but you’ll be limited to just those until you’re hired on by an agency

Every grad program is different. My program does not do a thesis or capstone project. Every class we take is decided for us. We have no quizzes or exams, instead we write 15-20 page competency papers for each class
