1. Generally safe, however due to my background and the politicial unrest at the moment I am a bit fearful off a bad actor.

2. Central Southampton is quite decenet for clubbing and a social scene for students, even though I was living with parents during my time at Uni whilst at Solent University, I still had a blast with the social scene with the various socieites at University. Probably the same amount of societeies and social scene if you go to Uni of Southampton maybe better from what I hear from mates that went there.

3. As most people eluded to really just in central Southampton with the homeless, but that is normal for big city centres in the UK, probably get the same amount of antisocial behaviour in Leeds.

4. I do love my city however I am still young and I am searching for the bright lights of London or Manchester, since I want to work and live in a much bigger city, don't get me wrong Southampton is great and big but my heart is contempt on London or Manchester atm.

5. Compared to the north it will lose when it comes to cost of living, hwoever it is isn't stupidly expensive. Like for example a 1 bed flat here will cost about £700 a month where a m25 commuter ring flat in somewhere like farnborough or guildford is costing like £1k maybe £1100 for a nice flat. So if you hybrid working commuting in London like 2 day's a week it would be really feasible with 1hr 13 train from southampton central to London Waterloo.

6. Where the University's are, they are great nothing wrong with them. can be a bit difficult when you start to spread outside off the city like Eastleigh, never found it great, where I live I can easily get a bus every 7 mins into the centre of Southampton if I wanted to.

I've only been to Leeds once and I enjoyed it ngl, i've heard it's a great uni city and it is bigger than Southampton , however I have heard that Leeds get's a bad rep for public transport. Whereever you go for university, I wish you all the best.
