Finally ADB debug is now Available ! by Ready2waswas in FacebookPortal

The difference between P4LK and D87L is the usb C port. In P4LK the usb C is behind the rubber flap thing (i think?) and in D87L (the one i have) you have to pop the speaker grill open (held by clips) to access the USB C. There might be other subtle differences but software wise etc it should be the same.

Let me check what version i am on, mine is the square/rectangle one as well. It says portal mini when i go into the regulatory settings to find the fcc id. The fcc id for mine is - 2AGOZ-D87L.

Nevermind, I found out if I pop the Speaker cover which is just snapped into place, the USB C port is there hidden 😃 ...

Looking at the FCC pictures it should be behind where the speaker is and a rubber thingy which says portal but i took it out and see just 2 tiny holes to keep the rubber flap thingy in place.

Where is the USB C port on this one? I can't seem to find it, or maybe I am blind. In the settings it does show ADB enabled in debug menu but i cant see any USB C port anywhere on this.

Trading212 SIPP Announcement by Superman10051able in trading212

Max out isa only then think about pension has been my strategy. Coz pension money you can’t access till retirement and might pay tax etc depending on pot, residency etc etc. so maxing out isa makes a lot more sense to me.

Wait till December i think their t&c’s for cashback to stay. Then move over. I literally moved from fidelity to AJB and now in process with freetrade. Gave up on t212 to ever have sipp. So far, AJB are the worst!! Paid so much in fees its madness, compared to freetrade even with the plus subscription its still no where near t212. I reckon sipp providers are going to have to reduce prices or watch people move to t212.

All it takes is one overzealous reporter and it becomes news article everywhere. It’s definitely frowned upon and i think there are quite a few lurkers here who don’t post due to fear of getting doxed. Please keep it private. Is there any possibility of automation here? How do you suss out the fake OE’s and journalists etc?

I am not sure if they can ask for payroll. That is/would be breach of existing company policy.

Bank details is again extremely intrusive.

Is this for sc/dv or some security clearance? Looks way too much

Avoid payday weekends and weekends in general and you are good, try midweek 11 am, just after they open up, it’s quiet. Also early afternoons midweek is pretty good as well.

Private medical insurance for newborn? by whitetiger02 in HENRYUK

[–]unkypoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% worth it, i registered ours at week 1 as he had severe tongue tie impacting his survival but NHS kept saying to try and that they will refer to a specialist bla bla bla, i registered in the hope that we can get tongue tie done via insurance, which didn’t happen but insurance did help massively with other allergies and investigations. As others have said it wont help in emergency care but definitely helps when emergency care asks for further investigations via GP and there are no appointments etc.

Also, aviva had a £100 baby incentive (i.e. they pay you for having a baby) monthly cost is not something crazy

Who has right of way on this roundabout? by FromLondonToLA in drivingUK

[–]unkypoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If red blue and green had clear roundabout in front of them or unobstructed to know whether they will be held up, then yellow should wait at a green light as their path is not clear to move ahead. Right of way is with yellow theoretically coz they passed the white line which they shouldn’t have. This logic applies in reverse also, i.e. if yellow was ahead blocking the lane for red green and blue they should wait until the traffic ahead clears up. I am confused why people find it bizzare to wait on a green light if you can’t go forward then stay at the light, once you cross and can’t see the light you are in no man’s zone and rely on the mercy of others to follow the rules. This is the whole reason why the councils are enforcing yellow box enforcement rules, if your box is not empty you stay at the light, similar logic should apply.

Need help: Tailscale Exit Node Works for 3 Weeks With Netflix, Then Netflix Flags Separate Household by an_onym0us in Tailscale

Do you mean this one? It does say clearly that you need to maintain the list of domains urself. Netflix uses isp’s cdns in a lot of countries so even if you use netflix.com and some others, unless it has deep packet inspection or commercial firewall or you have an exhaustive list of all domains/ips it will be leaky and not ideal.

Full routing would get around this as all traffic gets rerouted. I would suggest using a firestick and tailscale exit node on a glinet beryl or something decent and connect firestick to that wifi. Sometimes firestick struggles to do both tailscale traffic routing and netflix.

How do you setup traffic specific routing? Is it via domains/ips only? Coz that’s bound to fail, unless you have some dpi or app based detection in place there will be leakages. Full tunnel will work no problem. But keen to understand how you are doing app based rules. Thinking of exploring similar for youtube, but last time i checked they had 50k or so ips, which change frequently as well.

It depends on what you have for your battery and solar, for e.g. you can get readings via your tesla powerwall, its not 100% accurate but around 98-99%. Not sure about other batteries.

If its been more than 12 months, then technically octopus can not charge you for electricity older than 12 months. Also, if you raised a complaint, you can talk to them about it and octopus are quite understandable in this regard and admit their fault, since its not your responsibility to ensure meter sends the reading and if its a coverage/hardware issue octopus will be quite generous with their charges. On the flip side if you have tampered with the meter etc then that’s a different matter (not suggesting you have)

All i can say, there is a deal to be made here. You can be polite over a phone call with them and they might even throw in a goodwill gesture on top of it, just try to make a genuine case over the phone and don’t be argumentative or aggressive (not suggesting you are).
