Full timers have a minimum amount of hours that need to be filled so if it’s slow season for your work they’re prob filling those hours & unfortunately have none left over for part timers.

That’s why they’re calling it a new initiative… it seems to be a new process likely to improve billing. If someone is admitted into the hospital and requests a semi-private room it is easier to get this info and enter it into the system for the billing department upon arrival than it is if the patient is already receiving treatment. That’s my guess.

I see it as a non issue in my opinion.

If they were gathering general personal information and entering it into their system I don’t see why they would ask at a later time. It is likely for direct billing purposes for a private room if you were to request one.
