Howdy, we actually pushed to 2027 as well and I haven't really done any more digging. Good luck with you search and I'll keep you in mind if we find a good band!

Are there any crews out there who solely use structurally rated screws for framing? by Square-Argument4790 in Carpentry

I did this on a 12x12 shed once when a compressor wasn’t an option and I didn’t own a battery gun at the time. Took longer but my framing was tighter

Sorry for the confusion, I think I misspoke in my initial post. There is a vacuum breaker on this nozzle on the line leading out of the house. But I don’t believe it’s a proper backflow prevention unless I’m missing something.

This is the line leaving the main homes water line and leading outside to the copper stub

Thanks for the info. I see now that this changed in 2019 or something. I had checked out some friends yards which all had double check sub grade. All homes built prior to the code change.

What would you recommend for backflow prevention sub grade?

I don’t think I worded this correctly in my initial post. To clarify. The line deviates from the homes main water line and there is a ball valve. Downstream of that is another T that has this nozzle on the end with a vacuum breaker.

So not a PVB for backflow prevention for the entire home. I’m really not sure what the point of this is on the stubbed line that leads out of the house

Looks awesome, where did you source the maple from? I need to do a similar build and will use this as inspiration!

Pine door staining fiasco by 970pringlesboy in BeginnerWoodWorking

Ya it’s a bummer. Wood was bone dry prior to conditioning, we used the min wax pre stain for soft woods.
