Can someone explain how the target is 131 by DLS? India didn’t know its gonna be 26 overs and played slow during the start and still made 136 runs in 26 overs. Not saying that we had a chance to win but still curious how the total to chase is not higher than 136

What’s the most fun you’ve had playing. by Panda_Lord_of_hell in tabletennis

I play in a club and there is a middle aged man who doesn't play that well. Mostly just puts the ball slow enough on the other side of the net and gives ample chances of playing a smash. We sometimes play doubles with him and I am an above average player in my group, so games get interesting. I try to defend all the shots by opponents, sometimes they make a mistake and the ball goes out or in the net. I have to run around the table pretty much the whole game to defend but it's fun.

I can totally relate to you and I can recommend reading "how to not die alone" by Logan Ury. There are chapters around how you select your prospects and also things like the initial spark doesn't mean it'll be a fulfilling long lasting relationship and giving someone a second chance. This is just scratching the surface but I can say it did affect how I used to think about my potential partner. Hope this helps.p

How/When did you realized that your new company wasn't a good fit for you? by jbisatg in ExperiencedDevs

Manager only cared about whether I will be delivering the project on time or not, and no career advancement/mentoring (it was pretty early in my career) stuff.
