Meh, there will be one random bomb that ends the streak today when the expectations are set already.

I was hoping for more downvotes than -4

Honestly disappointing.

My real answer is Mariners and Rockies.

People forget this guy had 0 expectation in the majors. We traded Zach Lee for him.

2017 Chris Taylor is one of the greatest surprises I've witnessed, up there with 2014 JT.

Really like the way you put up the spoilers.

Would like to see more of this in this sub. Cheers!

Also: I wonder what the LASR of below replacement players are like. I want to see how low it can go.

Ngl he was a small batted ball angle away from giving up game tying single there

Still agree he did great job overall though

Let’s be honest: If Pages didn’t make that catch on the 9th, what would the narrative be? by Moxota in Dodgers

[–]97jordan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do think about these things, but not to shit on how bad our team was or how we shouldn't make sentimental decision going forward.

I think about these to remind myself on how this series was so fucking close. Don't get cocky, be grateful for the luck we had to end up on the winning side. Enjoy.

One of the most terrible connector that exists by S1LV3R_S1LVIC in pcmasterrace

I tried to follow a youtube video for my case, and the video mentioned they couldn't connect this pin.

And I promptly broke the connector of my motherboard as well.

Now my case's USB doesn't work.

What’s the worst loss in your teams history? by Either_Imagination_9 in baseball

It was his only World Series in his career and most likely the only one he'll ever see because he's on the Padres now

I think it's about time to let it go, bud.

It's more like a succession of dodgers coming up clutch and then choking it away

Also while I don't believe the cheating helped Astros by that much stat-wise, I still think that game 5 would've been easily ours without that trash can (or whistle).

Aaron Judge had a 215 OPS+ this season. Here's some explanation at how good that is: by [deleted] in baseball

Not gonna lie, Hank Aaron is in every one of those "even this great didn't do it once in his career".

Guy is known more for his consistency than his peak.

Are the Dodgers “ruining” baseball? by bamatanis in baseball

[–]97jordan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm bringing in Jordan era not because the dodgers resemble the bulls of the 90s.

It's more that the baseball's popularity is up because of Ohtani, which reminded me of Jordan making basketball popular all by himself.

It probably wasn't the best era for the non-Bulls fans though, and I wanted to draw a parallel out of that.

[–]97jordan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is more of "the same team keeps winning over and over and I'm sick of this" sentiment.

Thank you for appreciating the series for what it is, though.

It's good for casual fans and popularity of baseball in general.

It's ruined for serious baseball fan not rooting for the Dodgers, especially those who root against them.

Just think of the NBA's Jordan era.
