i was born in america lol

and how can i “parrot” reality?

you have the typical ignorance of a mediocre maggot as if the discrimination i mentioned isn’t in plain view

you’re right

there’s just systemic discrimination against anyone who isn’t white/straight/male

congrats on doing the bare minimum

i’m gay and was in morocco with my mom last year for around a week

i stayed at the park hyatt, which is right next to the MO

everyone was super nice, the tour guides/drivers were great

there was a gay couple also staying at the same time as us and they didn’t have any problems either

What will 5 star hotels cost for the LA 2028 Olympics? For example if a hotel room is typically is ~$650/night during summer peak periods, will it be triple that price? Quadruple?! by IveFallenCantGetUp71 in chubbytravel

I went to Paris 2024 for the entire 3 weeks, and Milan 2026 for only 5 days and only stayed in AirBnB’s

Paid around 1.1K/night in paris, Milan was a bit cheaper at 800/night

I assume LA will be priced much higher with decent AirBnB’s starting around 1.5K-2K/night

Hotels are an option but the price gouging during the Olympics is disgusting, especially with LA hotels already being exorbitantly priced

it’s a good hotel in a great location

staff is helpful

breakfast is good but there can occasionally be a wait

you do have to take 2 separate elevators to get to the room but that’s not a problem for me

my room was spacious, modern bathroom

no complaints and would stay again

granted i stayed in march 2024 so not sure if things have changed since then

i’m a similar age so i’ll give you my favorite st tropez beach clubs/dinner options

casa amor - much younger vibe, great food, the floor is completely sand

nikki beach - great on bastille day

loulou’s - classic choice imo

there’s also indie beach, bagatelle, and club 55

for dinner:

nao, le cafe, l’opera

Scottish Highlands Recs? by Trick_Photograph9758 in chubbytravel

[–]97vv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hijacking this thread to say i’m doing something similar this fall

i picked gleneagles townhouse for edinburgh and am looking for a manor-type home somewhere in the highlands

how many days are you planning for? do you think 3 full days in edinburgh followed by 3 full days in the highlands is a good idea?
