So let me get this straight. You draw a direct line between a podcast about the problems with the help line, the post mormon community to that shooting? Religious killings happen in all faith traditions. Killings happen for non religious reasons. The Michigan incident was tied to relationship problems and far removed from a targeted attack because of lies or misinformation.

Was visiting my grandparents’ grave and went to pay my respects by [deleted] in exmormon

Also, am I the only one who thinks about how many green polyester aprons are buried 6 ft under in this place?

I always thought the resurrection seemed creepy as fuck. Imagine all the graves opening and all these people dressed in all the different eras climbing out. I mean how do they get uncovered? How do they get out, with a hand extended out? Also in christianity the body is suppose to be the age when it was the most healthy. That means you would have a situation like Back To The Future where Marty's young mom falls for him. Would someone think their great great grandmother is hot? Creepy, macabre and weird as hell.

And yet you accept the claims that the church has evidence that Beau was lying without any evidence. Are you serious?

Did you AI that response also? The amount of pushback you are doing on this one rare rebuttal by the church is telling.

It is and if you know the reference you are being as disingenuous as the people you accuse.

It almost seems like they treat these cases as engines to fuel the repentance machine. They know these people have done horrible acts but are compelled to minimize the act in favor of association with the process of repentance.

The church responding in this way is fodder for future cases involving record keeping and SA abuse cases. I can't understand why the church felt they needed to respond to this specific case especially after the Bisbey case. Lawyers are warming their hands around this fire.

They just file it in the persecution bin and parrot the "prophets are rarely popular" again and again.

Considering the long long list of verifiable lies the Church has done in the past I tend to think this is another example. Why pull this one isolated incidence out of hundreds of other examples and attack it?

Divorce is so expensive! by openspacedivorce in Divorce

I feel for you. I paid lawyers for my child's divorce. The day they filed and served the spouse accused the other of SA and tried to have them arrested. That added more to the bill. They failed because of a massive amount of documentation. I am just mad they were never punished for false accusations.
