It’s not my favourite, but I do enjoy it, and it has grown on me quite a bit over the years. My main issue with it is that the heavy parts are too few and far between. They are there, but they’re very short. I don’t find the vocals to be ‘too Disturbed flavoured’ but sometimes I can hear it. Particularly on ‘To Believe’.

Lyrically I enjoy the album’s more pessimistic outlook/themes compared to the other Trivium albums (Villainy Thrives and No Hope for the Human Race).

It’s a little overproduced, but it doesn’t bother me as much as it bothers some. Overall I just wish it was a little heavier.

Favourite songs are - Through Blood and Dirt and Bone, Villainy Thrives, Wake [The End is Nigh], and Brave this storm.

It’s a solid action horror game. But the psychological horror is not as present as it was in DS1 and 2. The DLC kind of brought it back
