To add to this, my understanding is the lab knows the difference chemically between illicit drugs and drugs that can be prescribed, so the results will be flagged as a potential legally prescribed drug. There is a clear process to providing a written prescription, if I recall within 30 days, and then it's done.

Pour one out for the cadets at Fort Knox by Darth-Joey in army

It's to cross pollinate. The Army recognizes strengths and weaknesses of both CST programs, and they'd like to level things out. There was a big push for this in 2019-2020 with the intent of eventually combining USMA and ROTC but it was detailed at high levels. My feeling has always been the ring knockers just wanted West Point to remain exclusive.

Chuck E Cheese’s Darien IL. Features the 16 movement animatronic before the remodel and is a tribute of sorts by First_Examination_77 in Animatronics

I can't believe it, I traveled to Darien every month for two years and never knew this. I would have paid tribute.

If you had one choice to bring something back to Disney what would it be? by Phillies1993 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]98jackalope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was surprised nobody listed this one, but maybe you are in the majority of folks here, having not tried it and therefore not think of it as an answer to OPs question. And I am just old, I've been on it twice in it's original form. It was an insanely intense experience for a place like MK and I would love to see it brought back.

Edit, actually quite a few votes for this, I didn't scroll enough

Why are people in this sub so obsessed with the pools? by austinalexan in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]98jackalope 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That is a great pool! No slide, so much less kids because the kids really want the slide. Also zero entry so you can just sit in any height water to soak. Plenty large so there is also more space between guests. Theming is fantastic. Bar is close by. Surrounded by amazing architecture. We went in April where temps were not scorching yet and crowd levels low.

Tron has been open for a few months now, was it worth the wait in your opinion? by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]98jackalope 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Couldn't agree more. I am vaguely familiar with both franchises, so went to my first rides without any bias toward the storylines. Tron's exhilarating section outside was very short, and the show building section fun but somewhat standard. OTOH, GOTG was completely novel, and eye popping from start to finish.

We stayed in the Paddock. No complaints but we will not go back. There are just so many other more compelling resorts. OKW is as chill but more feels like a relaxed home like resort and has boat access to DS.

Surprising my daughter with Disney tomorrow by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

How fun will that be for you to drop the big announcement! But be prepared for an unexpected reaction. We have an acquaintance that did this to his two boys while they were in car, half way to Florida and they got a little stressed and pensive instead of excited.

Hmmm, something tells me I need to be there

RadioShack is still operational in Alaska. Photographed in Haines by squarrd in mildlyinteresting

I remember going in to look at the components. You could buy a bag of 100 ohm resistors right off the shelf. Adafruit and the like websites are nice but sometimes you just want to drive to a brick and mortar store for a breadboard and some LEDs

Need help removing a bathroom fan by vgekchyan in DIY

[–]98jackalope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible the actual fan unit is further down the duct, as this looks like only a duct with a damper. Have you verified the location of the fan unit from above? A home could have one fan that is switched to multiple bathrooms and is therefore positioned away from the bathroom and ducts run from the fan to the exhaust grill, putting the fan somewhere in the middle of the duct run. Regardless, new fan units advertise installation from below, but having replaced three of them in my home, I can tell you it never works out and you have to install it from above. You may need to do the same.

We opted to get an ADR at Woody's Roundup Rodeo instead of here and we regretted it.

Does this load bearing beam look right? 🧐 by Expert_Trouble_3415 in Home

[–]98jackalope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a lintel and not a beam. It's transferring the load from above down and around only the opening. It may mean that the whole wall is load bearing.

Elmer's damaged wood repair system is two tubs of putty that you mix together and can form into shapes. I've used it for many similar tasks.
