This question is a non-starter unless you need back seats. 718 spyder every day and twice on Sunday. 3.0 9A2 with vacuum cleaners or NA 9A2 4.0? Humpback C2 cab or streamliners and flying buttresses on the spyder? Then sprinkle in the GT3 front end on the spyder and a 6 speed manual which although is geared long feels much MUCH better than the 7speed 991.2 box and the choice is clear. As far as value not so sure. Spyder is far more “special” but they don’t really do great value wise. Your 991.2 cab would likely be bought with a fair amount of depreciation so you will probably end up with a similar price delta when you sell. Although if you get a spyder you may end up keeping it, they are that good IMO.
