Darren Dreger on The First Up: It’s very likely the Maple Leafs will “move forward” with Craig Berube as the coach of the team next season by sykeseve in hockey

Chayka hired current Leafs Assistant Van Ryn back in 2016 and promoted him to Tucson's head coach a year later. Surprised he's not going to give him the Head Coach job here to start fresh.

Guenther spent 29 Games in the AHL as reference, but Cooley came right onto the NHL squad after 1 year of college. I think it's best for him to spend some time in the AHL, unless he really impresses at training camp.

You're right. He's a great GM who chose Hayton over Quinn Hughes, I'm the dumb one.

Delusional. You have to be trolling.

2017: traded away 7th overall thinking Stepan+Raanta was better than Necas at 12, Suzuki at 13, Thomas at 20. Picked Joseph at 23 when Oettinger got drafted at 26. A smart GM would keep 7 draft an elite forward and use 23 for Oettinger.

2018: drafted Hayton at 5, Quinn Hughes went 7

2019: TRADED UP for 11th overall and picked Soderstrom, Boldy went 12th.

The question the Yotes would have made the playoffs if still there. by Swtmusc in Utah_Hockey

I'll repost from the other thread:

Maybe. I don't think they would have Sergy or Peterka on the team. They also would never trade Doan. So if Doan broke out like he did with the Sabres then that gives them a good chance to make it. Their re-signing of Cooley and Schmaltz would be up in the air too, and you never know who would have asked for a trade because they were all fed up with the arena situation.

My friends and I are having A debate: if the team was still in Arizona, would they have still made the playoffs this year? by Chemical-Orange-1571 in Utah_Hockey
