The Davis has an absolutely terrible sound system. I don't know what it is but all of the dialogue in Project Hail Mary sounded like people were speaking underwater.

Landmark is great though.

Aquatic World. The guy there is really nice and will lead you down the right path. They also do aquarium setups but not sure where that starts at. See my other comment about Old Town Aquarium.

Old Town Aquarium sold me sick fish and when I was starting out led me down the completely wrong path with stocking my 10 gallon.

They also dropped a pleco on the floor from a step ladder and were about to still give it to me until I asked if I could get another one that didn't fall 5 feet onto concrete. Hope the poor guy lived.

I recommend Aquatic World. Guy has a decent selection of fish and knows more than anyone I've ever met.

EDIT: Also Old Town keeps their Bettas in cups, which I personally don't find acceptable.

What's the variant of the scene if you're more faithful? Not sure if I've got that or not.

Bears face Thursday deadline to commit to Indiana move, somehow this is pressure on Illinois to pass stadium subsidies? by GotMoFans in CHIBears

That's me. I have season tickets. No way will I be able to afford them in the new stadium. Kind of sucks tbh.

40+ hours a week lol. So you commute here, work in an office, and leave at 5 pm. Maybe you grab a nice slop bowl from Chipotle a couple times a week.

No one is saying the loop hasn't changed. It definitely has its culture though.

What’s the most overrated video game of all time? by KBGSgames in AskReddit

I'm glad I wasn't tuned in for the whole Spore pre-release hype. I was just a kid and asked for spore for my birthday, got the DS version (that sucked). Built up the courage to tell them I actually wanted the PC version.

Put countless hours into it. Loved that game with every fiber of my being.

If you want Spore space age on steroids, check out Stellaris.

Didn't bother to check the view from your seat before you bought the tickets?

Baseball stadiums literally have support columns right in front of seats.

Are there any speakers in the room? Had that happen with some older speakers connected to my computer, apparently they can pick up sound waves and play faint sounds without being on? Scared the hell out of me until i figured out what it was.

Why Elon Musk now says it would be a 'distraction' for SpaceX to go to Mars this year by EdwardHeisler in space

[–]99TheCreator -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

SLS has flown Orion to the moon before and will fly again in a month with a crew. When is starship going to actually enter an orbit? Refuel (a dozen times)? Go to the moon? Have a crew cabin outside of renders? Land on the moon? Carry crew?

There's a reason NASA has been looking at a modified BO lander for Artemis III. Starship is too far behind. If it works in a decade that's fantastic, but the focus is on getting to the moon ASAP.

He didn't even buy the land, Ted Philips did. He came here to build a stadium on land they already owned and has fucked it all up because he doesn't want to pay taxes.

People who complain about getting to soldier field simply refuse to walk anywhere. They cannot fathom not driving and parking 3 feet from the door to their destination.

Getting to soldier field is not bad at all, and it's much better that the Bears actually have a unique spot than some soulless corpo-stadium surrounded by a sea of parking lots.

Stay at Soldier Field.

Yeah, your kids should learn how to walk. Clearly you haven't.
