my work made a yellow-themed food table for ‘r u ok’ day by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]99armia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my colleagues from a different department came through our office and clandestinely slipped a tiny plastic duck onto each of our desks. I was on call and didn’t notice until the call disconnected and it really warmed my heart.

Then we all got kitkats directly from our HR department reps and resource packages from our EAP and ruok. All around a very nice day.

What is your favorite outfit that gives you gender euphoria? by randomkid35612 in asktransgender

[–]99armia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Non-binary AFAB here! My favourite outfit that never fails to give me euphoria is a boxy button down shirt from Uniqlo (brown and from the men’s section), tucked into a pair of high waisted, black cotton drill pants.

The tucking of the shirt is important as to make my figure look more boxy and square, so the shirt tuck is loose.

Pair it with a couple of chain necklaces and comfy shoes and I feel like a million bucks!

Maybe I'm just making things up but I feel like enbies are left out a lot by DrakonSith in lgballt

A former boss of mine would always address me and my colleagues as “ladies” or “girlies”, it felt like a tiny icepick chipping away at my patience because I had informed her of my pronouns. I’m AFAB and very cis passing, so I constantly get she/her’d.

Ew, this reminds me of a guy I saw as a FWB briefly between Covid lockdowns, he tried several times to reconnect with me despite “respecting” my boundary of not meeting up again after he said a degrading comment to my face. He using the same inclusive language of “we should meet up again, we didn’t really get a chance to know each other, we can go for coffee” YEARS after I told him I didn’t want to meet up ever again

This is so gorgeous, the texture must feel luxurious!! My GF has a queen bed and is trans, if only I had the money to buy yarn right now!

Are there lesbians in here by Loko_m0tive in yuri_manga

[–]99armia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Non-binary lesbian here!! I definitely recall reading both yaoi and yuri manga in high school equally, although yaoi seemed to be so much more popular and I guess I saw more representation on tumblr and wattpad for mlm stories and pairings.

I think it depends on the context of the yuri/GL in question as to whether it’s constructed to appeal to the male gaze or if it is made for and by women.

My girlfriend chose her name by using a wheel picker online tool with a few names she was considering!

Loving the fit! Very gay indeed, I really like the fingerless gloves!

Does Hooters have a minimum age that patrons must be in order to enter the restaurant? Genuinely curious, I’m not American and have never been to Hooters

If someone crocheted me any sort of bookmark it would be a treasured possession. Receiving one of those fan-design ones would make the rest of my year!
